Unassuming local curry house and takeaway dishing up a familiar menu of Indian/Bangladeshi dishes.

Have never (would never) ordered a takeaway. However I can highly recommend eating in as the food (especially their vegetarian dishes) is really jolly good indeed; proper, authentic flavours and certainly not the usual one-sauce-fits-all fare that's commonly put on the table front of you. And compared with the place next door, it's an absolute bargain!

Collected take away Saturday evening. Food was GREAT as USUAL and service from Abdul was exemplary. Friendly, good value and the only Indian takeaway we will use in Abingdon.

Ordered for delivery, specifically asked for poppadoms, arrived with all the sauces etc but no poppadoms. Called and asked what happened to them, was told not a statuary requirement and won’t be getting the £ we payed for them back, also said no delivery drivers, but when I called to place another order, he said there were plenty of drivers. Food not great, service even worse

Not a great experience, the driver has seemed to have dropkicked the meal before giving it to us. Shame as I sure the food would have been better if the driver knew the area and could find us before it went cold too.

Went to go in as menu looked good but before we could staff came to the entrance a lit a cigarette. Looked at us like it was a choir. You have just opened properly after lock down #2, make an effort to entice us in.

Firstly the staff very friendly the waiter Kobe very polite and a good host. Had a great conversation during our meal made us welcome. The food fit for a royal the meal deal starter Lamb chops amazing taste main course lamb madras the best very succulent just went down a treat. The portions was bang on to fill you up top quality food at a very fair price 100% recommended first time as travelling from the North for a vist but will arange to eat in again. Great meal Friendly and well priced.

Friendly family run business. Very traditional approach, which I love since I despise the tendency for Indian restaurants to go all designer with sparse Decor and western music - or worse still - none at all. Not so here. The music is evocative, and it is a warm hearted place. Now the food. Some great dishes here. The quality does vary somewhat admittedly from night to night, but when they get it right the food is approaching superior.
