Fantastic pub, great staff, great service

Lovely little pub with covid rules in place. Seating outside and table service... Friendly staff who know their regulars. Really good little place

Quite disappointing unfortunately, in sort due to current COVID-19 related restrictions.The one-way system and taped-up bars etc make the interior look something out of a police crime scene investigation. The place lacks any character and the food was sadly, very disappointing. The daily special beef and ale pie was extremely dry and lacked any flavour.

A bit short on atmosphere. Only one real ale on. But hopefully the new tenants will bring it on. Landlady friendly

Lovely little village pub with good outside seating. It's fairly old school and traditional which I love. Very friendly lady served me which pleases me as too many pubs these days seem to have over worked, underpaid and stressed out staff. I was on a bike ride so perfect stop off point. Top packet of pork scratchings and pint you can't go wrong by popping in here. Food served Thursday to Sunday.

Not a good experience at all, the place was cold, dreary and unloved. Not a single vegetarian option on the menu or 'specials'. This was apparently due to a new 'chef', well if you like chips with everything and greasy spoon cafe food at exaggerated prices then you'll love it.

This place is amazing. The people, the food the venue. Nikki was an amazing host and the team from the carchase heroes(next door) were fantastic!!! Great atmosphere and made me and my gd feel welcome!! Would defo recommend a visit. (Not to be mistaken with prince of Wales didcot) 11/10

Excellent service. Very accomodating with food order. Excellent food well cooked and received quickly. Highly recommend. First time visitor would definitely come again.

Have used this pub quite a lot since new people have taken over, it great, really friendly good selection of well kept ale, really nice food,will be there again very soon
