way too expensive for what it is, Cheapest bottle of wine £20 for what tasted like cheap table wine, clumsy service yet added the service charge without asking, nothing wrong with the food as long as you're not hungry as portions are small.I know we have had Covid etc but it seams like this pub is trying to get its money lost back in one year

Nothing actually wrong with it but a bit formulaic. Pastel colours, fancy flannels in loo with Steve McQueen pics. You know. Food good but not excellent. Coffee weak. Had to ask for stuff. Needs to move from third to fifth gear

Amazing pub/restaurant great food and staff very friendly and polite 100% will visit again the best food me and my wife have had in a while highly recommended 10 out of 10 thank you for your hospitality.

Recent visit as a pre-Birthday meal.Ok so, in my opinion, not for a family with young children. Children's menu limited and one item not available (which of course happened to be the choice requested). We were greeted with a limited Sunday menu, no lamb. Ok, another choice not available. Settled for the Beef, the meat was cooked perfectly and was the highlight, the rest, pots, veg, ok. That main was just shy of 20 quid, I would say a fiver too much.One server was very attentive, the other seemed in a rush always.No towels in Bathroom, no hand paper, wash hands, they stay wet...Summing up, ok meal, ok ish service, nice ambience, over priced.They are best sticking to the pretentious Bistro set that are happy to pay the prices.

What a fantastic experience I real cool pub the staff were just so friendly and helpful very chatty the food was absolutely faultless fantastic woodburner went there for Sunday roast absolutely brilliant definitely loving the Steve McQueen theme in the gents toilet cheers Vince

Amazing dinner here the other week. We both had the Halibut with Thai fishcake - so nice to see an exciting pub menu away from the usual bog standard choices. Staff were incredibly friendly, there was a nice ambience, and we look forward to coming back!

Wonderful staff at this friendly and welcoming venue. Clean comfortable accommodation, an excellent dinner offering and convivial bar serving beers from local breweries. It was a real pleasure seeing a good team working hard and well together Highly recommended.

Fantastic food and service. The portion sizes are spot on, the flavours are unique, new and you can tell a lot of thought went into the choices. Lovely pub feel with "fancy" restaurant food, what's not to like?!

Our lunch, on a Saturday, was excellent. The staff were very busy with 2 wedding parties lunching before going onto their respective wedding, but did keep our party informed of the delay in serving our food. When lunch arrived, the food was well presented, not over facing, and delicious.

Just arrived booked in for 3 night stay. Host most helpful & accommodating, on our arrival. only downside was that the pillows were lumpy & in need of replacement. Breakfast was lovely. Ate in the restaurant once, very pricey for what we had.
