Friendly welcome , sat in area with no one else with air con blasting out not even asked if was happy to be seated there just said did we want.drink a waitress will be over !!Young waitress very polite took our orderFood arrived and all I can say is the chef needs to do his homework and check the menu, as out of the 3 meals we ordered 2 came with missing items and mine was a fraction of what should of been on my plate. Plus poorly presented and the supposedly chargrilled lamb was fatty and inedible , if it wasn’t the fact we had a voucher and business are struggling enough I wouldn’t of paid for my meal at all and to top it off they were out of the puddings I wanted to order too , needless to say I’m glad it’s not my local beefeater as I won’t be returning again

Not very impressed. Staff were, on the whole, good, and the buffet breakfast was mostly good. In the evening we had dinner and spent £33 on two meals and two soft drinks. The coke tasted like it was made up from cheap powder. The service was incredibly slow even though the restaurant was very quiet. My £15 meal was so small I was starving afterwards. The prawns were really tough and seemed glued to the skewers. Filling up on the salad wasn't an option with the tiny scatter of rocket. My son asked for a burger without chips or slaw, and it duly came as asked, but it looked rather ridiculous still served on a huge dinner plate instead of a smaller one. I know the place wasn't obliged to make his meal cheaper because he didn't want the sides, but it made the overall price more galling in light of our experience.

Evening meal was very nice and good service. But there were far too may people at breakfast at the same time, just wanted to get out of there. Excellent pleasant staff running around trying to sort everything out.

The food was good, but the service was absolutely shocking. Literally watching staff use their mobiles while not taking your order. Bar even won't take your order. Presumed manager proclaiming understaffed but definitely poorly managed. Staff seemed to have no direction. Apparently ran out of wine glasses! So served wine in a brandy / half pint glass

Went to the Apple Cart today (1st May 2022) and although we were a large group of nine without a booking, we were accommodated and well looked after. The Manager kept us informed regarding our order and was very funny and amusing throughout. The food was lovely and even individually cooked for a member of the group with allergies. Prices were very reasonable and we would definitely go back again

Just had a fantastic meal here. Grilled king prawns with lemon mayo and chips was delicious and my partner had rack of ribs . Also fantastic! Friendly service. Definitely will go back to try something else.

One of the best beefeater meals we've had. Extensive menu, tasty food and good efficient service. The puddings are great.

We booked a table here for Mother's Day Dinner for 6:30pm. Half of the Mother's Day menu was already sold out and what we ordered was absolutely horrible. The food was cold, the steak was full of gristle and you couldn't eat it. My daughter's Mac and cheese was cooked via the microwave and her baked beans and mash were stone cold. Would not recommend

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. We visited and ate as part of a Premier Inn meal deal so had dinner and breakfast. The staff were brilliant, particularly the waitress who took care of us for dinner. She was so good with my children and her service was exceptional. Breakfast service was also really good and the food at both meals was delicious. Highly recommend!

Booked in here for a Christmas meal, there is a decent carpark, staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Our party was seated across 2 tables which wasn’t ideal but I understand why they had to do that with the size of our party.The food was standard fare for this type of place, perfectly fine and my chicken burger was very good. The festive gravy was also excellent.There was a slight issue with the sides that only came out once we had actually finished our mains. Desserts were good I had the cherry sundae recommend it.We also got a good deal where one of the courses was free and they did an NHS/Forces discount too so all in all a great deal.Based on this experience for cheap good food I would recommend.
