Fantastic Sunday roast, excellent food and service. Pub has wonderful atmosphere and is dog friendly (we did a circular dog walk from the car park). Would recommend.

Great establishment but they need to work on giving the the breakfast options a bit my consideration.

What a beautiful little place!Booked in for a weekend at this gorgeous country pub and enjoyed our stay thoroughly!Harriet took us to our rooms and explained everything about our stay, the bar, restaurant and nearby places for walks/activities etc.Paul the owner and Jess the bar girl couldn’t of done more when it came to serving us. Real assets to the place.The new chef is brilliant! Food was to die for (especially the ice cream nachos).The all round atmosphere is warm and inviting, the rooms are silent at night and being on a quiet lane you can have the windows open all night and sleep peacefully.The choice for breakfast was all so tempting, great to see gf/v/vg options too. We took it to go one morning and enjoyed our bacon butty on the top of white horse hill.Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a romantic, quiet, relaxed time away!

Beautiful, comfortable, warm family room with everything catered for. The food was excellent for lunch, dinner and breakfast too. Staff were lovely and welcoming. A perfect place to stay when visiting the surrounding area!

Very pleasant country pub. Food and beer was good. The service was fairly slow even though they weren't very busy.

Lovely cozy, family friendly, dog friendly pub. Quick service and had the most amazing roast dinner that was brought out with quick service, would definitely go again!

Beautiful room, very clean, warm and comfortable. Evening meal was delicious and exceeded expectations I heartily recommend the starters the Onion Rings are to die for..the Chilli Burger and Half Spit Roast Chicken with your choice of sides hit the spot. Breakfast was again a delight, all fresh ingredients and great fresh ground coffee. Nothing was too much trouble..well worth a visit

Lovely lunch today. Very good food and reasonably priced. Lovely calm atmosphere and Paul the owner is friendly and welcoming. It's only recently reopened and has been redecorated to a high standard. The garden on a nice day would be amazing to sit in.

We visited for lunch at the newly reopened The Blowing Stone Inn. It's been decorated very tastefully and there's a wood burner in the bar which was nice on a wintry day. We were greeted warmly by the new Publican, Paul and the team. The food was fantastic and very enjoyable in a relaxed atmosphere. We'll be sure to come back soon!
