Stayed here and the property had a ladybird infestation. Added to that the shower sprayed to the ceiling and there was leak damage as a result. Would not recommend this place at all. They also don't respond to messages quickly.

Very rude little man on reception , put the phone down on me mid conversation, so when I called back immediately he continued the conversation and again was not allowing me to speak. Very rude little man has spoilt the hotel, remove him and employ someone appropriate as it will enhance your hotel profile. Little man needs a football and a park. Good luck for the future

A cosy hotel near Infineum. It looks like only have less than 10 rooms but in a quiet place. The most impressive thing is the bedroom is very hot even in winter. If you arrive after 10.00 pm, remember to notice the hotel to help you check in as they normally close at that time.

Room OK but front of the hotel noisey.Events unmanaged so noise until 0500. Won't stay again. Just Indian food & no food if there's an event. Just total rubbish

·

Good food - Indian for a (work) Christmas meal, which was different!

The Steventon House Hotel is quite simply amazing.Having been working on the science campus at Harwell for five months staying in chain hotels and eating chain food this place is just a breath of fresh air.The staff are kind, friendly and welcoming and the whole ambience is one of calm and tranquility. The rooms are are comfortable and quiet and the food is top notch. When you are working away the difference between a week in the Premier Inn and a week in a good hotel like this is staggering. And the pink gin and cherry cheesecake is to die forThanks to all at the Steventon House Hotel for a pleasurable working week.

Great hotel with excellent road links. The restaurant food is excellent and the breakfasts are the perfect start to any day

Reasonable facilities with fantastic customer service. I booked for four nights but only stayed for one as wifi was not available in the rooms outside the main building (and I needed it for work that week). The room, facilities and breakfast seemed reasonable. Perhaps a little pricey for what you get, however, I am not that familiar with the area so it may just be the norm around there. Also note that the rooms in the main building may have been refurbished recently and the one I stayed in was an older one yet to be refurbished (hence being slightly shabby). The room and common areas were clean. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and quick to resolve the issue with the wifi. There is a beautiful terrace area outside and, if I had not had so much work on that week, I would happily stayed the week and worked from the terrace!

Currently in room 2. Apparently the most expensive one they have. It's minging, the pictures online are completely opposite to what you get. Just want to go home.
