"Nestled in the heart of the community, catch up over an expertly kept pint of cask ale, a G&T or a glass of Prosecco. If you’re feeling peckish tuck into a pizza, a fajita or one of our hearty pub classics, cooked with care. With a warm welcome and something always going on, we’re proud to be part of the fabric of the local area."

Lovely food and service.Would definitely recommend. All will be perfect if they keep the same managers and kitchen staff for as long as possible. There is a tendency by the brewery to keep changing staff.Keep them there and you will love the results.

Went for a birthday party.....Firstly they'd lost our preorders for food, then refused to let us order food for another hour as only preorder food would be served before then, so we had to go over the road to the chipshop.... when my father in law got frustrated and critised the manageress, who was rude to him, she threatened to throw him out.....Also the waiting time to be served at the bar was ridiculous, only one barman serving, while the other bar staff and manageress were chatting at the end of the bar....they only seemed bothered about serving the regular loud lager lads round the corner.....Would steer clear in the future

After struggling to get a table at a closer location, we tried the Bystander. I am so pleased we did. We were welcomed warmly, served quickly and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!!

Not a gòod experience. Sunday lunch was very disappointing roast beef was on the menu as pink all of ours was red with blood coming out of it when tried to cut it. Very rude answer from the chef via the waiter.Service very slow when we asked where our puddings would be ready was the assistant manager made aware of our experience. Nick was very helpful and apologetic.

This place has always had amazing food, now it's been revamped, the whole experience is now perfect! Great affordable food, friendly staff and a beautiful looking pub

Fantastic food and staff. We were served by Alice and Nikki and they couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our delicious meals. We will definitely be back.

If I could give 0 starts for this place I would. Visited today, menu was limited no steak so couldn't have quite a few things on the menu. When booking online it should state that certain things are not available. The food was shocking, warm not piping hot and hair in food so sent it back, as did a few other people who were dining. I know this is a dog friendly pub but when dogs are coming in barking non stop and the owners are doing nothing to stop it they should be asked to leave. not what I wanted to hear the whole time I was eating. Staff were shockingly unhelpful and didn't seem interested when there was an issue with the food. Only good thing about it was my drink. I will never come here again.

It was fine. Food is good value and was well cooked. Not much vibe and service was average but good spaces between tables.
