Friendly staff good Sunday roast. Nice pub.

Food good, beer good but attitude of barman wouldn't go down well with a lot of people.

Arrived without booking but a table was found and we had a great meal. Really fresh battered cod , home made. With chips and peas. One vegetarian option on menu . It was a homemade brie and beetroot tart with good pastry. Excellent Brakes pear cask ale. Adequate car park. Some outside tables in quiet village setting. Nice clean toilets. Wheel chair access.

Great food and drink, lovely pub with a former butcher that knows his product. Dry sense of humour so expect some banter.

Very friendly service. Lovely options available for Sunday lunch. Main course was great plus a fabulous leek with cheese side dish.

A welcoming landlord and landlady. Good cooked fresh to order. I had the gammon steak and himself the stuffed plaice. The mains were gorgeous so there was no room for a pudding. Well worth a visit, but do ring and reserve a table.

In these difficult times our wonderful landlord and landlady are still working so hard to give us fabulous food and service. Please support them through these unprecedented times. Takeaway food is amazing. Miss their happy, kind faces but everything else is perfect.
