Stayed in the hotel rooms. Lovely staff, really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good sized rooms, and fantastic breakfast! Couldn't ask for more, perfect!

Brilliant! Booked last minute for a family get together for 11 of us. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to cater for all our needs. Service was excellent. We all had various Sunday roast which was wonderful with 3 meat options - Lamb shank, Pork and chicken and a vegetarian option, all with veg and trimming and gravy. The nut roast was freshly made and very tasty, we would highly recommend to others and will be returning again soon. The food was served quickly which having a newborn baby was ideal and the food was piping hot too. They even offered kid meals and alternative options to the roast dinner. The pub was lovely, clean with a nice warm atmosphere.

Had a great first visit to the Cherry tree today. 5 stars for tasty roast dinner. Plenty of it and lots of fresh veg without having to wait too long. All served by friendly staff and felt welcome and warm on a miserable day.Would be happy to return again 🙂

Utter rubbish. My inlaws took my kids here for a treat. They only had chicken or nut roast as an option despite advertising a full menu. They ran out of coke, i mean this is a pub. Food was produced within minutes of ordering rather than being cooked freshly. When they spoke to the manager, they just couldn't careless. Avoid at all cost, try the Plum Pudding, the Fox or anywhere, you will get better service, better quality and better price.

Food was over priced and un edible. Avoid the food. It was just microwaved and was served cold . Paying top restaurant prices you expect decent food

We pop in occasionally for a swift pint and sometimes a few chips. This place has a great ambiance along with cheery staff. Well recommend.

It’s good to have the pub open again and the atmosphere is back but the food is disappointing, overpriced and just not that great. It’s a real shame as a pub selling decent food would really do well in this village. McDonald’s is cheaper and nicer to give an indication of what to expect.
