For a luxury stay not good to have to walk down the road for the evening meal. Compared to previous night nobody offered to take cases.

Stayed here for 2 nights, it was my first time away without my baby girl visiting friends in the area for the weekend. Kirsty and Beth where so friendly and really made me feel at ease! Nothing was to much trouble for them, they really are a credit to the hotel. I will definitely be staying there again, absolutely loved it!! Plus the lodge is gorgeous, great breakfast and the bath was complete bliss!

We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight.Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator or something plumbing/heating related. It kept us awake during the early hours and then woke us early, continuing for most of the morning. We raised this at check out and initially the receptionist seemed understanding but then it became apparent that she thought that we were talking about the function noise (although we explained this was completely different). She did not appear willing to treat it as a complaint or take any action.I've since sent a number of emails to the hotel with no proper reply apart from holding messages. I didn't ask for a refund, a discount, or indeed anything at all. All I wanted was to make the point that we had paid a lot of money for a one night stay (actually our first for 3 years without our children) and to hopefully gain an explanation, perhaps an apology and some comfort it would be fixed so that it wouldn't affect other guests.Instead, we got silence and no sign the hotel cares about service or feedback. We won't be returning.

Lovely decor. Although lots of disappointments.1 no cooked breakfast2 TV in room difficult to see as at the side of the bed.3 no bedside table or light4 no mirror by natural light for makeup5 too many chairs, unnecessary, taking up space.

I stayed here over the summer holidays. Hotel was beautiful the beds were really cosy and the showers were lovely . Hotel was clean, would have been nice to have slippers and more luxe toiletries to keep up with the competitors . The breakfast was nice, although there was no cooked breakfast available which was a bit disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite being a clear lack of staff. I would stay here again if I was in the area and great location to explore Pendle hill and the surrounding areas.

We recently stayed here for one night . Having arrived at 1am a gentleman came out to help us with our bags which was very helpful after a 4 hour drive .The room was lovely - the whole hotel was cosy and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms were clean and well appointed Breakfast was adequate - a continental buffet selection. I expected a slightly better breakfast to be honest with competitive hotels offering pancakes/ eggs / french toast on ordering .Staff were very friendly - it seemed a bit understaffed with one nice man doing breakfast and on reception but I’m aware it’s a small hotel and also with the last 18 months Covid pandemic it has been hard for hotels .Overall we had a nice stay , it’s a lovely cute hotel with easy access to the nice walk up Pendle Hill, easy access to Burnley town centre by car and a good stop off in Lancashire if travelling . I would recommend it and if I’m in the area would stay again.

Really stylish comfortable rooms in a lovely area. I stayed for a night with my son. Only downside I found was although we could have our breakfast at the hotel, we had to go over the road to the fence gate hotel for meals and drinks.Oh and the main road at the back of the hotel was quite noisy too

We booked to stay here in November 2019 for a night we could not fault the stay at all !! We booked to stay in a classic king room but when I called up to arrange a bottle of champagne upon arrival they informed me that my room had been upgraded at no extra cost which we were extremely happy with the room was extremely clean and very modern absolutely no corner cutting and no expense spared !! There were also a selection of tea bags and biscuits which was very good attention to detail!! The breakfast put the icing on the cake the cooked breakfast was absolutely perfect we will defiantly be staying here again

We've just spent the last 3 nights here and have come away feeling refreshed and relaxed. The area is so peaceful with lots of nice walks and was the perfect escape to recharge the batteries. We stayed in the apartment and had everything we needed and were very impressed by the provisions available for dogs. Breakfast was always very good and the staff nice and friendly. Would definitely return.
