The king and Queen in Vale of White Horse

Friendly welcome. Dining area not too busy, excellent vegetarian lasagne. Breakfast was one of the best ever, setting me up for a challenging cycle ride. I chose this pub for an overnight stay as it has secure accommodation for cycles and motorcycles. Can also charge ebikes. Quiet location, no road noise. Will definitely return.

A must go to pub for something different with a fusion of British and Spanish cuisine.Great, friendly and welcoming staff.We had the salmon with patatas bravas, a nice combination and well tasty. Lovely evening at the king & queen! Super friendly staff, and tasty food carefully prepared by the Spanish chef! Interesting fusion, I had the salmon with patatas bravas and was yum yum yum!

Absolutely lovely food and attentive service in a nice quite country pub. Not a large menu but well cooked and presented food.

Funny story here! Long story short, I was away with work and staying near a pub called The King and Queen. Called to book a last minute table and they kindly fitted me in. Turned up and the pub had no idea who I was and didn't do food! Turns out I called these guys instead of the pub I was at - very very embarrassing. When I rang these guys again to explain what had happened they were so lovely about the whole thing! I can't wait to be in the area so I can finally pay them a visit! (I was about 3 hours away.) Amazing customer service <3

Lovely friendly service. Food was nice roast potatoes a little over cooked. Will definitely be eating there again.

I liked the King and Queen. The staff were really friendly and for the most part the food was excellent. Sadly let down by burned sauce on the Sticky Toffee Pudding. That said, the main courses were fantastic and the beer was great.

Can't recommend this pub/B&B enough. Good value for money, decent and clean rooms, nice food but what really makes this place special is the staff who are extremely helpful and friendly (and also very accomodating to young kids). Will definitely go back to stay when visiting the area again

Lovely place and good to see a local pub on the up after such hard times. Good food, efficient service in bar. Friendly landlord and staff, glad to have a choice of local pub and deserves support...keg beer selection small but quality. Also heard a customer whilst I was at another nearby pub extolling virtues of King and Queen...praise indeed as the "other pub" is a great place too for food and drink...having a choice is a credit to both establishments and encourages people to get out and support local enterprise..
