A real little gem! It is such a rare treat to find a independent cafe these days in a high street filled with bug American chains I was so pleased to find The lounge cafe. The owners are so lovely and friendly the menu was great I found it hard to make a choice as there were so many lovely choices. If your looking for a really nice cafe and want to support local then give them a try you won't be disappointed!

Didn't realise we were wandering in on their first day opening since coronavirus and it was just brilliant. The owner is so lovely and couldn't have been more accomodating to us with two babies in tow to complicate matters! It was also lovely and cool on this ridiculously hot day. The chicken salad looked amazing and tasted even better.Some places just have a good vibe and this is definitely one of them. Will definitely be back!

Service at the till was slow, person at the till did not have the intelligence to advise of lack of staff and over a 40min delay in service.Place is massively over priced for the quality of food seen being severed, food on the plates was not well presented.We watched two person sit drink a pint and eat there food and leave.10 minutes to get a coffee.Manager was not fussed or apologetic , we had a child with us upset. Never go there to put money into a business which has no time for you. Party size was 5 persons.

Good place for coffee, cake, breakfast or lunch. I had a full English and just managed it, coffee is nice I poured the milk and the foam created a heart just how I felt. Owners very friendly too. Quiet place to sit and browse your paper, other coffee shops are too noisy and busy, expensive too.

Love this little cafe that has a wide range of cakes, sandwiches and cooked lunches. Staff are warm and welcoming and I always enjoy coming here for a catch up with mum. Definitely recommend!

It is always a pleasure to go to The Lounge Cafe. The hosts are always welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and prepared with care as are the hot drinks!The Lounge Cafe is nicely tucked away from the busy road. A perfect and quiet retreat to enjoy a moment of peace or read your favourite book over a lovely cup of coffee.I highly recommend visiting!

My favourite cafe to visit. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There's a wide variety of food on offer, freshly cooked. In my opinion they do the best Americano I've ever tasted. Highly recommended.
