A quintessentially English pub with a modern twist. A few minutes off the A420 and you'll be relaxing on their decking overlooking the River Thames. A great choice of beers including Peroni, Brooklyn, Tribute etc. A very friendly atmosphere and a modern menu that offers a great choice. There's a tastefully designed restaurant where you can even sit in a boat! A totally lovely experience, you can even bring your dog.

When we were told the other well known pub opposite was fully booked for lunch, we decided to pop over to The Maybush and were really pleased we did! It was busy but food was easy to order and arrived in good time. We had ciabatta rolls and the children had chicken bites and burgers. Good value and great quality, clean plates all round! Will definitely return again soon!

Lovely pub set on the River Thames with even nicer staff. We stopped on a walk from Standlake with our dogs and had some drinks including coffee, tea etc. The coffee was really good, the tea lovely and the staff were friendly, chatty and a credit to the place.Didn't eat here but lots of others on our nearby campsite said it was really good and they'd highly recommend. Will try next time for sure, as we love returning to the area.Good work Team Maybush

A terrific pub, with a charming situation by the river and next to an ancient bridge. The food is very good indeed - we've visited a few times from their "sausage and cider" festival (chips were incredible) to a more low-key family lunch (excellent roasts). The staff are all superstars - friendly and helpful. This is a rare independent gem.

Absolute quality gastropub. Great range of beers on draft and the food is simply superb. If I didn't live 240 miles away I'd definitely make this my local pub/restaurant. Enjoyed a fantastic meal with our aunt and uncle last Saturday and I think the food is reasonably priced for the quality. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Lovely place now. Right on the Thames with indoor and outdoor seating. I had a lovely Fish goujon ciabatta.Staff went out of their way to open and heat a lovely outside cabin on a sunny but cold Feb day for me and a friend who were on bikes.Well be going back very soon.

Had the pie of the day (venison, pheasant and pigeon) which was delicious would definitely recommend if it's on the menu. Veg and mash also very tasty. Partner had fish and chips which was also tasty and a good portion size. Sticky toffee pudding for desert which was lovely too. Would definitely visit again, staff were very friendly and cute dog too.

Drinks weren't to expensive. Food was really nice, the crispy beef salad in particular. The view was amazing and we had a great time. Only way it could be improved is by having the food delivered to the table as opposed to having to go up and collect it under the current system.
