Went for a lunch/dinner with my partner and son, never been to this pub before and was blown away with the service, staff and cleaninless and the vibe in this establishment. Food was really yummy and wasnt along wait.Totally recommend the steak and sticky toffee pudding!!Thank you guys for a lovely afternoon.

I have to admit to never having set foot inside this place, but I have eaten their food. I was staying in the nearby Premier Inn, to attend a family funeral, and while my 11 year old autistic son was having a meltdown over choosing somewhere to eat, I sent my extremely stressed husband and sister to just go and get their own meal. In the end my son calmed down enough to go to the adjoining Beefeater, where I waited about an hour and spent £33 on two ridiculously tiny meals. I was absolutely starving, but my amazing sister persuaded the equally amazing people at the Packhorse, where they were eating, to cook me a meal, which they brought home in a takeaway container. Presented on cardboard, it was still beautifully arranged, and apparently you CAN eat a full meal with a McFlurry spoon. The meal was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked, and so wonderful after a hard evening.

Tasty little gastro pub with great food and friendly service.

The food from the Sunday roast menu was really enjoyable. We also order the vegan roast and that was also nice. Our highlight was the attentive staff who were very welcoming.

This pub preserves the style of the last century. The indoor is comfortable for folks to chat and the outdoor is comfortable to enjoy sunshine. The cod I ordered there was perfect. Nice dish!

Had a meal out here last week, food was great unfortunately the service was super slow. Not very busy, still a 45 min wait for main course. If it was not for the quality of the food I would have only given 2 stars. Potentially a great place to eat, just need to work on the service.

It is a lovely local pub. The food is (better than most) pretty good, better than many restaurants. It is a bit pricey. London prices and the tables still suffer (however slight) from that typical drink was split, stickiness. Which when you rest your wrist on the table between mouthfuls is not my favourite feeling. If the prices were a bit lower, we would be eating here more often.

Excellent food and very friendly staff. Went twice while in the area and would definitely recommend!

We were staying at a local hotel nearby, so we recently had the pleasure to dine at the restaurant here and had an amazing meal. The food was impeccable. I had ham croquettes, pork belly roast (with the best pub roasties I've ever experienced) and panacotta and Irish coffee for dessert. All staff were very friendly and well mannered. Massive compliment to the young chef and his team too. Thank you.
