I honestly cannot recommend this place enough.I have had the week from hell. Today I was hoping it would get better and the events of today left me deflated.So on our drive home, myself and my partner thought we deserved a little pick me up.First impressions were of a cute little family place, fairly spacious garden, and complete humble and understated. It doesn’t scream out ooo look at us, but it really should.The staff are extremely lovely, seriously they cannot wait to look after you, so many times you walk into a place, and feel like staff just don’t want to be there, and that’s on your average normal English summers day.Today is one of the hottest days of the year,And you could excuse that kind of not wanting to be there attitude.These guys are right there waiting to look after you, and under no exaggeration go above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcome and looked after.If you are looking for a friendly place with a nice chilled vibe, and quality service then look no further. I haven’t even eaten yet.Thank you to all your lovely team, you cheered us up.

The food was lovely, staff was professional and helpful. The service is quick and efficient. Ordered drinks and got them within 2 minutes, we also ordered food which came quickly. Would definitely come back. The food was also lovely. Zach and Jenny was lovely. Xx

Had the best experience, food was lovely great portion sizes too.. Michaella is a new waitress here she is so very polite helpful and professional. Highly recommend. Lots of lovely friendly staff, always able to have a chat and laugh. Fantastic pub.

We came in with a reservation, the table reserved wasn’t ideal for us. It was in a corner with no windows and quite cramped, so we asked to be moved and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was to much hassle. Upon ordering food and drink at the bar (as we sat in the bar area) the staff behind the bar were excellent. The food was fantastic! I had the fish and chips, my wife had the veggie pie, both were delicious. And the price was very good, value

Fast service, friendly staff and very accommodating to extra needs. Food was amazing and general cleanliness was top notch. Megan took our order swiftly, precisely and confidently. Happy customers and will definitely be back!

We were asked if any allergies on arrival. Waitress was very good and attentive. Food was very good, and came within a reasonable time. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Definitely will be returning soon.

The most awful lunch and experience in restaurant I had in years! We booked for a group of 12 and their automatic system assigned us a table in kids section. I did not had a suspicion it would be so bad but we were ignored by all the staff and had to go to the bar to ask we’d really like to order now. We were waiting for drinks to arrive for 20+ minutes and and food took well over an hour. While waiting we wanted to order more drinks but this was always a challenge as we had to shout at the waitress from distance to get noticed or go to the bar ourselves. Then kids started arriving to play and were screaming so loud we couldn’t even hear each other. When food finally arrived it was inedible, my friend had a chicken roast that was so dry it was impossible to swallow, burger also incredibly rubbery and dry. My scampi had a disgusting fishy smell and mash I ordered was sat under a heating lamp for so long it started forming a off-putting dried crust on top of it. We only ate a few bites as everyone was starving but left half portions on plates as the food was so bad! We really should have asked for money off the bill and I’ll not be visiting again.

Great place to eat & socialise - this is our go to place when we get together each month. We all had different meals & each of us enjoyed just as much as the other. Served by Zack this evening, who was always checking in & took our orders promptly. We ordered soft & alcoholic drinks along with starters, mains & puddings. Rhubarb gin is a must! All staff really friendly and helpful. Always very clean & welcoming. See you again next month!

Nice place, pleasant staff.Bit disappointed with the vegan menu as most of it was spicy and my wife is allergic to chilli's.On the menu it says pub favourites but only the fish and chips I would say was a favourite.Overall the food was really good especially the pizza.

A nice pub, with the building being modern and clean/tidy outside and inside, but for customers there's a long wait for service and for food/drinks to be brought to the table, and the food itself was good but not great by any means 😕 Being a family pub, we were also surprised to find that there were seemingly no daily deals on, such as 'two mains for £x' or get a free starter or dessert with any main'. The menus are varied but the whole meal was expensive for what it was, however the staff were friendly and welcoming enough. Personally I feel there are better pubs nearby that offer better value for money, but decide that for yourself! 🤷🏼‍♂️
