Great place to stay for country walks, doorstep of the Thames Path! Great food and nice fireplace. V dog friendly!!! Staff are lovely.

There were 4 of us for dinner and all of us had great starters and mains. Proper home cooking and all cooked well. Our waitress (Hannah - Goosey) was fantastic and had even decorated the area around our table for my wife's birthday.

An amazing time on Mothers day. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and so genuine. The food was excellent with massive portions! Really loved it here and we were made to feel so welcome even with our very messy 1 year old!! Haha! Definitely be back and definitely highly recommend.

Stayed recently. Room was nice, clean lovely being by the river. Had dinner in the restaurant and its was very good! Breakfast the following morning was also very good! A good place to stay.

Much improved pub with decent ales and very nice food that's pretty reasonably priced for the area. May need to book ahead if you're having a meal as it was busy when we went on a Thursday evening. Will be going back again!

Was there for a mothers day meal and wasn't disappointed. Plentiful food and tasted great. Staff were attentive and will go back for another meal. Recommended

I booked a table for Sunday lunch for my brother and I to take our parents for a birthday treat.The welcome was amazing with fabulous staff. Never have I been offered a bed for my dog (lovely touch) and a handful of treats. The menu choice was fab and there was something for every one of us.The food was plentiful and freshly cooked.Amazing experience we will be returning

The staff were so friendly and welcoming to us, The room was what we expected for the price we paid, Very clean with the usual the amenities expected. The evening food was excellent, but the breakfast was a bit of a let down due to it not being very hot and the scrambled eggs being over done in the microwave, but the choice of breakfast was good

Staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and above all, cheerful. Dropped in for a pint (or three) and had to return the next day as it was a sunny day and outside seating was very pleasant. Other customers seemed happy wirh the food, leaving the staff tips. Worth a drop in I would say. Dog friendly with treats.
