The Vine inn in Vale of White Horse

Lovely little pub, stopped in for lunch on the way back from Silverstone. Foods was tasty, especially the fish pie and parsnip soup. Highly recommended!!

Popped in saturday after a track day at silverstone. Fantastic little pub with a passionate chef serving great food. Highly recommend visiting and the deserts are not to be missed!

We enjoyed a really well cooked, tasty evening meal here. We were visiting Oxford for a few days and we ate in a few pubs over that time and most meals we had were pretty bland. The Vine Inn was such a pleasant surprise: great service, good wine and lovely food. The hosts are friendly and chatty. Highly recommended.

Very quiet when we got there but the host was most amiable. The food was all freshly cooked, the portions were generous and of good quality. Like lots of gastropubs, one day they are very busy, the next quiet so staffing is awkward. Be prepared to wait for your food but it was worth waiting for.

Had a great evening for our Christmas meal here tonight. Food was great, service was on point, and the host made us feel so welcome. Thank you.

A good roast lunch although piled high on much too small plates.Importantly, although we made it clear on booking that my husband was coming on a mobility scooter, we were not told that the (excellent) accessible toilet was not available at the moment.This resulted in a very difficult half hour negotiating the entrance to the normal 'gents'. Rather spoilt the whole experience.

I'm rating it above average for now, cos though I like the village vibe, I haven't been able to grab a meal yet in my many visits. The timing seems not to work as they close for a couple of hours midday.It has a nice outdoor area which is usually not full when I visit. However, it should definitely work well if you're with your own group.

We had a friendly welcome and very efficient introduction to The Vine and their facilities and social distancing rules. Val took very good care of us making sure we had everything we needed. Food and drink arrived promptly and Val was keen to make sure we were well looked after. Great pub, Excellent good, great service and a beautiful beer garden to enjoy it in! Highly recommended! Try the guilty fries! 😊

Popped in here Saturday night very warm welcome from landlady who accommodated our late arrival. The food was fairly traditional pub grub done well. Good vegetarian food my veggie friend stated. I had sausage and mash which was delicious. This is a small village pub with a good outdoor seating so great for the summer. The locals seemed friendly and of course a bonus for the pool table. Definitely come again.

A wonderful whitewashed village Inn with lovely looking food (I didn't eat but will on my next visit, I'm sure). Polite welcoming staff and customers, a most enjoyable experience and the beer was good too! Well worth a visit when you are that way.
