What a find. Lovely gardens behind the car park are the first thing you notice. Then you walk into a charming interior - cosy and comfortable. We had Sunday lunch which was excellent. Everything you'd want from a village pub and more

A very pleasant surprise. The pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas with the inglenook fireplace lit and offering a comforting warmth. The food was excellent as was the service. We will definitely be returning. I would certainly recommend this place.Thank you Wheatsheaf for your efforts in such a difficult time for you.

Had lunch here at the mid point of a countryside walk. Sat in the lovely beer garden and had delicious Brie, pancetta baguettes and toasties for the kids. Lovely outdoor location, great service and delicious food.

Great food and service. Brought back old memories

Good traditional British food well cooked and reasonable prices. I had steak mushroom and Guinness pie which was stuffed full of quality steak with chunky chips soft on inside crunchy on the outside. Vegetables fresh and crisply cooked. My wife had two pieces of cod in a home made batter. Both very generous portions. Building is very pretty and insides are classic pub.
