The wondering kitchen in Vale of White Horse

Fantastic food here. Recommending the sausage rolls and the brie/bacon/cranberry toastie. Great cakes here too but a little too much focus on flapjacks and brownies.Lovely lakeside location. But the food is truly worth seeking this place out for. Excellent quality, generously portioned; clearly pride is taken in the work here.

Great cafe on the lakeside with lots of outdoor seating at the front and balcony at the back. Simple but delicious menu, great coffee and a nice selection of local beers too. Dog friendly inside and out.

Absolutely love it. Lovely food, coffee is perfect as far as I'm concerned, staff are very friendly and polite, and the surrounding area is lovely, you won't be disappointed

Absolutely lovely place to sit and relax and take in the view. Food and coffee was fantastic.Highly recommended for a snack stop with relaxing atmosphere.

Fab place for a walk around the lakes and then a stop off for food and drinks.. Had a lovely lunch overlooking the lakes and the best chai Latte... Lovely freshly made, home cooked food too.. Highly recommend a visit

Visit early (they open at ten most days, but check the website) when, weather permitting, it's perfectly pleasant to sit outside overlooking the lake whilst munching on a freshly made bacon sandwich
