Throwing Buns in Vale of White Horse

Just ordered a baguette just prior to lunch ASI thought I'd get in early.£5 for a weedy looking microwaved baguette.... Shockingly bad!Surprising considering there are so many other coffee shops near by.I'll try the others next time.Only 2 stars as the staff were pleasant.

What a lovely place for an afternoon tea. Really loved it. Very cosy and I think the owners were amazing. I am sure we will be back again and again.

Food was reasonable but it's not at the same standard and taste that I have eaten at other cafés. Tea was excellent and went down well.

Lovely cafe with great cakes and also lots of history about the bun throwing from the town hall.

One of the best spiced chai lattes ever! Really friendly staff and they were handing out dog treats just for fun! Loved it.

Turned away because we had a small dog. Went to Java across the square and had a lovely lunch where our pooch was welcomed.

Great latte and a nice piece of banana cake. Loved the interior decor and nice seating area outside too. Friendly staff. The place to go for coffee and cake in Abingdon.

I had a lovely afternoon tea in this cute little cafè. The food was really nice and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back! 😊

We've had the most wonderful afternoon tea at Throwing Buns ♡ the staff we amazing, so attentive and not pushy at all. We stayed and chatted for a long time and all of the staff were just great. Of course the afternoon tea was delicious and there was plenty of it and the tea and coffee tasted really nice too. Definitely want to make sure I go back ♡

Lovely little cafe where I had lunch in the midst of wonderful weather. I think, England has such cute, little cafes all around which not only look good but they serve amazing food as well. We had chicken sandwiches, ham sandwiches with onions & mozarella cheese and was amazing.I am finding these cafes really beautiful. I'd love to come back here again. And again.
