Ask Italian in Waverley

The location itself is modern, airy and comfortable although it does feel quite vast and echo’y during the more quiet times. We tend to order on deliveroo more now for convenience with work etc and the quality of the food has always been excellent. Their risotto with chicken and mushroom is a favourite and they certainly do not skimp on their portions. The meals are packaged well and delivered swiftly which means we always get them hot and ready to eat straight out of the bag. Next time I’ll take some photos of the meals:-)

I am totally disgusted with the quality of food received this evening via Deliveroo.We are regular visitors to the restaurant so know what the dishes are like so why what turned up was so poor is beyond me.I ordered the butterfly King prawns which are cooked in garlic butter served with toasted bread, what turned up was deep fried dried up prawns and therefore basically tastless.My lasagne was lukewarm and had to go in the microwave for 90 seconds and hubby's calzone was sunk in the middle.We are so disappointed that it has put us off even going to the restaurant now. Should have ordered from a private take away, would have had a much better meal for half the price.Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering 🙄

Used to really like Ask, but went yesterday and felt that the meals we had, 2 pasta dishes and a salad were tiny. The goats cheese salad, that I had, was especially tiny, it must have cost under £2 to put together, and was possibly the most disappointing meal I've ever been served in a restaurant. Maybe this is something to do with the new calorie amount on the menu, but basically if I'm paying to eat out, I want something that is more than 4 mouthfuls and want to feel full when I leave. Also the bread (sliced really thin) with the goats cheese, was soft and not crunchy as it should be in this dish.

Happily found delicious choices as a gluten free vegetarian. We were a party of 17, our table was very long, would have been nice to have had a sqarer set up and been able to see everyone.

Having ordered through deliveroo, I thought the actual timing of the delivery was good however when it came to eating the food, if was stone cold, I may as well have got it out of the fridge, to which I did complain through deliveroo. I was offered £9 refund after paying £36.32, this is horrific. Imagine sitting in your restaurant and having this same situation, you would either not make me pay or provide a new meal. I feel not only let down but a massive stress put on my evening for me and my partner.As a result for what I hoped to be such a good evening resulted in a terrible evening, the food was cold and tasteless. Would not recommend nor will I want to visit.

Pre-covid was very good food, afterwards has gone downhill. My favourite was the sea bass dish which I was looking forward to having, but was very disappointed as they seem to have changed to dishes flavour. Another party member had chicken which was mediocre, but others had pizza which they enjoyed very much. So work is needed on the specialist dishes.

Food ok, but cobwebs on light fittings and high places. When mentioned they said they could notTeach them, I suggested what they could buy and where from. 30ins later they started to clean away the cobwebs while customers were eating! Very poor management and general staff attitude. It made me wonder what the kitchen was like!; Visit ASK Chichester frequently cleanliness, staff and management great!!. Buck up ASK Haslemere!

Quiet on a Monday but still a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and I like the open kitchen. Friendly, attentive service

Deliveroo order was a horrible meal 2 mins all just shoved in the bin. I was warned by a neighbour hiwright she was spit Jesus H no thanks 😂Peroni beer was good 👍 but test was direNever ever again
