Badshot Lea Cafe Bar in Waverley

Loved it, unlike London garden centres, they have some wildlife animals including Guinea pigs, spiders, tortoises, fish, flowers, etc. They also have a cafe if you should get hungry and a play area for children...a little small but lovely and cosy. They also sell scents and little touches for the home proud and cakes plus other goodies to take away. The coffee and walnut cake was fantastic.

A great selection of gifts and plants. Staff were lovely and welcoming.Fantastic cafe serving alo types of food, we had the ham, egg & chips which was delicious again served by friendly happy staff.We will return even though it isn't our local Squires.

Lovely garden centre. Many plants, well displayed. Lots of parking available. I have not used the cafe, but it looks good. Lots of helpful staff, one carried my heavy items to my car for me unasked! He just appeared at the till.

Plants and flowers are a delight. Not so the cafe. In fairness we didn't get to have a meal but therein lies the problem.....apathetic service while you wait to catch someone's eye to be seated. I no longer buy the short staffed excuse- other eateries have the same restriction but provide a proper dining experience.

Really impressed with the selection and quality of items here, and everything is nicely laid out with good signage. Great range and display of water features, ponds and pond plants, and also impressed with their pet and fish section. Lovely garden centre and so pleased that it’s so close to home.

Cafe don't bother as the staff obviously can't be !!! Ordered Hot drinks at 11.45 promised food order would be taken shortly despite asking two separate staff if they could take a order nothing happened until finally managed to get the one staff who seemed to care order took at 12.30 no ploughman's (no ham) .ordered Steak roll and jacket potato very average not worth the bother paid and left. Plenty of staff no excuse suggest eat elsewhere, can See why the cafe isn't busy.

Excellent service and customer services always good, we were advised there would be a wait for food, but time passed quickly and food was served.

We haven't been to Squires for a long while but were not disappointed with our visit today. A lovely lunch and I bought everything I wanted to buy. The staff were, as usual, very helpful and cheerful. The toilets were spotless, as was the disabled toilet. Couldn't have asked for more.

Very poor quality food, we were expecting something better than that. Second time in one of the Squire garden centres this month with the nice weather, first time was in a different one, disappointed both times. Outside the food issue both places were pretty decent, but we always prefer to combine such an outing to a garden centre with something to eat. For this reason we will not be going back there in a hurry. Shame.

Overpriced. Not even a bit overpriced, the prices we checked online on other stores as we were browsing were on average half the price. We also made the mistake of having lunch there. It was memorable. Not often does a meal give you a good conversion pointer. For many years to come I will be talking about the worst Sunday roast I've ever had. Nearly frozen Yorkshire pudding and inedible meat. The only plus about this place is that you can walk around and see some cool pets and exotic animals
