Nice hotel, clean and a change from the hotel chains. Would stay again if in the area. The annex building was very quiet

Lovely StayGreat location, great hotel in the middle of Farnham. Fantastic value for money & lots of nice touches that make it feel quite European which was nice. 5 stars had the Bar & Restaurant been open, please please please don't use Covid-19 or Brexit as an excuse NOT to hire stafff as you are seriously missing out on business which will simply just go elsewhere. Pay the right amount, train basic staff & you can open as usual. Make your staff aware that they are valuable to your business & you will most certainly have a winning hotel in this wonderful area! Act now before you lose business to other bars & restaurants 👍🍻💥✌ Jay

It's 18th century and full of character. It appears not to be haunted much to my girlfriends relief.Clean linen, good friendly service and a spacious bathroom.Extremely convenient for the town centre. We found a very quaint and charming bar only 5 minutes walk away. I'm afraid I was too drunk to remember the name of the establishment but Farnham is a lovely town and this hotel was perfect.

The room was spacious, comfortable and affordable, the team however were the reason for this review. Roger, Heidi and the team were all so hospitable, going the extra mile to ensure myself and my teams comfort as we used their conference room for a training seminar. Lovely conversation and regular check ups on us are what i consider the highlight of the hotel and i would strongly recommend their facilities for anyone interested in business sessions or seminars requiring space.

Very professional and kind. Gorgeous breakfast basket included in very reasonable room rate. Second time here and won't be our last. Amazing location in centre of town.

Stayed at the beginning of August 2018. Decent room. No armchair which I found odd as one could have fitted. Quiet hotel and though my room was at the back over the entrance to a small car park I was undisturbed during the night. The bed was large and firm enough to be comfortable. A good nights sleep was had.I didn’t eat breakfast or use the bar but there’s a large Waitrose in the lion and lamb courtyard about 2 minutes from the hotel so I didn’t go hungry or thirsty. The dining and bar area is open plan and very modern but not in an innovative or spectacular way. It actually looked like an Ikea living room in one of their stores. Quite bland and uninviting. Surprising since the building is ancient and clearly well looked after so I would have expected a nod to the hotels history. You are better off finding a cafe elsewhere. There’s a couple of places in the lion and lamb courtyard.Staff are excellent patient and attentive.
