Coffee Diem in Waverley

Took ages for my coffee to arrive. So long in fact that people who arrived after me received their breakfast. Coffee eventually arrived after a moan. Coffee was lovely but only lukewarm. Moaned again. Still happy to take my money. Customer service skills not great. Avoid!

Horrible experience when visiting this cafe on Saturday lunch time.Having a stammer, it can be anxiety inducing to make an order due to blocking or repeating words/sounds. George (the owner) mimicked my stammer. I’m unsure if this was deliberate or just plain ignorant but I was too shocked and upset to find out so I walked away.‘Friendly, efficient and caring’ is the minimum they expect from their employees. I felt none of this and it speaks volumes when the owner doesn’t abide by his own expectations.I hope people with any kind of disability, hidden or not, are treated better than I was.

Great table service and awesome coffee. Every server was extremely friendly.

Great coffee and service. Breakfast was delicious too, and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Also dog friendly which for us is a huge bonus. Lovely place and we’re looking forward to our next visit.

Waited nearly 20 mins for are cups of tea. And still my toasted sandwich didn't turn up. This is the second experience in succession.😞 Let us have are teas for free.

Lovely little café to catch up with friends while enjoying a hot or cold drink and a slice of cake.

I dropped into here with my partner and little one, after viewing a wedding venue in the area.The place was busy, with a casual laid back vibe.I had smashed avocado on sour dough, with some bacon.It was lovely, although the bacon could’ve been a bit crisper.The chai latte I had was smooth and my partner had a slice of cake which I shared & it was moist and not too sweet- which was great!The staff efficient & attentive.

Very nice place. Friendly staff and good coffee. What I really liked is that it’s not trying to be too cool / too clever - just a good quality, honest establishment with nice service. Looking forward to our next visit. Recommended.

Lovely little cafe with really tasty coffee and hot chocolate. Plenty of seating outside spaced out for lockdown.

Delicious coffee, varied menu and fabulous fresh cake plus very friendly service - perfect place to stop for lunch or grab a drink.
