Been working here but it looks great .

20 months after living here... Distrusted by a long process of completing roads.. Back again today to dig up road. If you are a night nurse don't bother moving here as you'll be unable to carry on working

Ideally nice builds but further down the line had a fair few issues with our house, low water pressure because grit was in the pipes, doors not latching, garage floor not painted, bath tap fitted wonky & now it’s been cold noticed a draft on first floor living room door & window which is due to them being fitted too far forward which some of the builds on the estate have had sorted as they were told about it by st modwen so we flagged it up & just been mugged off. Roads still haven’t been finished yet their throwing up mor houses on the other phase despite this one not being finished. Shoddy!

Moved in to our brand new home over a week ago. We were skeptical initially as some of the reviews weren’t on par and the experience was less than exemplary at the start of the process as we were lied to by a couple of their sales staff members about properties not being available on their phase 4 until 2021 as that would have been an ideal location for us. This was a lie as some of these were on the market even before our house was completed and handed over so we felt a bit let down there. However ever since then our experience has been nothing but outstanding. The moment their Sales Manager Lisa Preston stepped in, she made sure any concerns we had were looked into promptly and nothing was too much to ask of her. In comes James Hadley (Site Manager) and this man is a true asset to your organisation. He went above and beyond in terms of ensuring we were absolutely happy with our home before we moved in. This didn’t stop there as he kept in touch with updates and also helped us take away a lot of stress out of moving into our new home. James and his team have always been hands on and the aftercare we received so far has been nothing but 5 stars. We are really pleased with our new home and wouldn’t hesitate recommending St Modwen Homes to others one bit.

Bit dirty on the roads but to be expected

Ā·

Quiet and relaxing place to live

Ā·

Overcrowded with roads not wide enough and little parking opportunity. If you bought here and had a few friends round parking would be a nightmare

Staff members were ā€˜not bothered’ to make a good impression.I spoke to them on Thursday about the plot we wanted to buy and they were saying it was available. I spoke to them on Friday afternoon and the plot was still available. When we walked in there on Saturday morning they told us with a smile on their face that the plot we wanted to buy sold on Friday morning, but they had so many other lovely properties that we must have a look. When I was speaking to them on Friday afternoon they already knew it was sold but they wanted to get us on a site to sell us something different. No apologies, no phone call to tell us that the plot we want to buy us already sold.I also asked a man working there how often does the train pass by ( the train is visible from their windows) he hesitated for a long time and behaved like he did not know the train was there at all, after all he started giving me different numbers and finally said he did not know. They are not professional, polite or respectful.

Nice new estate, not yet established, but in a couple of years it'll look like its always been there.

Looking to buy here and they've been so helpful and lovely during our visits
