JJ'S BBQ & Burgers in Waverley

Absolutely banging. Great size of portions. I got the chicken burger and my partner got the Columbia burger. We both enjoyed our burgers, but slight issue with mine was that I found a bone. This is understandable, but I was glad to not break my teeth 😁. The fries were lush too. Very generous portions of fries.

What a meal. We went at lunch time on a Saturday and even thought it's not a big place we managed to get a table straight away. I had the smoke stack burger which was massive. The burger was thick and juicy, and cooked well. Got some BBQ Brisket as a side and it was immense. The cajun fries were piled high on my plate and very well seasoned. I had no chance of finishing the meal given the size of the portions. For the size and quality of the food the prices were very reasonable. Can't recommend this place enough. If you like BBQ I'm not sure there's a better place to go in Glasgow.

Took my family for my son's birthday due to his love of ribs. We all loved it with both the mains and the sides being excellent. Between us we had ribs, 2 different burgers, a brisket bun and sides of chilli mac and cheese and beans as well as a couple of different fries. I can't fault any of it and had the joy of tasting all of it as family filled up and I enjoyed a bbq smorgasbord. Great times, we will be back!

Was really looking forward to trying this place and tbh was left a bit disappointed. 😞 The food was OK but nothing to shout about. Burger was OK but for £9 I expect something really delicious the picture of the double cheese burger looks like it is full of melted cheddar cheese but reality is a couple of srandard cheese slices. Pulled pork was tasty enough but very very dry. Chilli was mediocre at best, brisket was decent as was the slaw and fries. Wasn't a bad meal, but had hoped for better as I love this type of food, I won't be rushing back sadly.

Probably the best place in Glasgow to get anything anywhere close to real deal American BBQ. The ribs were excellent and the smoke flavours was there in spades, the brisket was tender and the fat melts in your mouth, the campfire chilli and all the other sides we had were excellent too, just really good BBQ

I got the Jack burger which was the simplest one I could find on their menu. Thinking...if they do a cheeseburger well the chances are they can do other things well.I wasn't disappointed. The burger was brilliant and the spicy fries were great too.The ribs were decent but not as good as their burgers.

Take away service only but the food was still amazing....bigger napkins would be a nice touch or I'd be happy with some kitchen roll. Taking wipes next time

Tried here today as it came up as a recommendation in my feed.I ordered the columbian burger, pit beef brisket bun, a full rack of ribs and seasoned fries and a root beer and can of Sprite to wash it down food was freshly made and portions are good the pulled pork was dry I thought but the best was the brisket bun it was to die for it was nicely seasoned and full of flavour and I will be back for more of these. The seasoned fries were ok with a nice kick of spice, and the bottle of root beer was very good

Quality of the food and size of portions are epic!One of, if not, the best burgers I’ve had, certainly in Glasgow.I got the Smoke Stack and seasoned fries, absolutely glorious.However, not impressed that you have to pay for ketchup/mayo etc, a bbq grill should always have these available complimentary. Who eats a burger and fries without sauce? Cashing in 👎🏼

Excellent burgers, BIG portions, tasty sides.... You better come hungry! This was The Columbia and it is definitely one of the best burgers I've had. Staff are lovely and friendly too. Only downside is that they charge extra for sauces on the side (even ketchup/mayo).
