The waitress was very kind and respectful. The starters/appetizers were quite good but could’ve used a boost of flavor for example the ceaser salad wasn’t very flavorful. The main course took a very long time to come I had waited close to an hour for my dish and it was only a simple dish of chicken yet it had taken them a very long time but thankful the food was decent and the butter chicken was spicy and basic.Definitely will not be coming here again

It was our first visit, and neither the food nor the service disappointed. The Beef Wellington was sublime; the meat cooked to perfection and the pastry crisp and fresh. The roasted cod with artichoke and red wine was excellent as well. The service was top-notch, with Mr Rui DaSilva spoiling and entertaining us. Highly recommended, and we look forward to our next visit!

First time visit to a Gordon Ramsay inspired / run place. I basically came here for the burger but was enticed to try other things as well.I had tuna tartare (12£). Portion size was quite small given the price and left wanting more. It was tasty but very pricey. Then I had the burger which was disappointing. The patty was quite thick but not really meaty felt more like a mixture of bread n fat and not really juicy either. (18£) not at all justifiable for that price.I had the Ramsey bramble (11£) and once again this was normal G&T, nothing really special so not really sure what the fuss is about. For dessert had cheesecake with sorbet (7.5£) and an Americana (4£) hugely overpriced.Overall the ambience and service was good but for 60£/person for a burger with 2 courses. I’m not sure if I want to come again

Great food and environment. What need to be noticed is that the price of Wellington is written as “per person& for 2” = 49 x2 instead of 49 as we thought before getting the bill. Although I did not read the price correctly, It’s already written in the menu and it still worth it. Satisfied and I’ll revisit this restaurant.

Really nice food and not too expensive! The area is lovely, the staff is friendly and nice, and there is enough variety to suit everyone.Taking into account the quality of the dishes, this place is not expensive at all!

The starters were amazing, the main and the desserts were OK. The ambient is nice and our waitress did a good job. I would definitely go again, mostly because of the spicy tuna tartar. It's also kid friendly, which is a big plus in Edinburgh.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here, the wait staff are very attentive and friendly. They are also great for helping with recommendations. We had the chicken wings and duck to start, pork belly with a side of mash and fish and chips for mains, we then shared the cheesecake for dessert. All were absolutely divine.Gorgeous setting, with a beautiful view. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic night and the food was delicious. The beef Wellington is to die for. The staff were amazing, so friendly and very professional, in particular David who looked after us so well and answered all our questions regarding the menu. He made us feel so welcome. I can’t recommend the service and food enough. We can’t wait to return.

Superb venue. Breakfast, high quality, great service, and then the day just gets better. Superb food, lovely staff, personal service. Evenings the venue comes to life with the great menu and a fantastic drinks range, including my favourite the unpasteurised high-quality lager.

Top staff! friendly and really helpful.Local is looking great with English vibe.Highly recommend steaks but sadly burgers are not the best, it’s not the type of meat which I’ll expect. It’s not a pure beff but they are adding bread or breadcrumbs as the meat it’s quite hard. Fries and all sides are all very nice.Great place for drinks and steaks that’s for sure!
