Wouldn’t recommend coming here, had a fish and chips the other night. Was very greasy. The smell of old grease as you walk in is awful. Very off putting

A brilliant chippy all round. Cooking freshly for customers. Arguably the best fish batter I have ever had from a chippy and consistent.

Wonderful service, 1st visit, my son had kids meal fish bite and chips...the best chip he had ever had, and ate the fish....which normally he doesn't like.Thank you....we will be regular Sunday visitors!!

I had large god and chip a few times from here. And there amazing. Very highly recommended. The staff and the lady owner are totaly brilliant and friendly.

Terrible customer service and very serious health concerns at this establishment.Let me explain the food has always been acceptable nothing special they give good size portions and the food has always been quite nice but nothing exceptional.The problem with this place is the customer service twice we have had problems here which the first time we did leave a review and they responded which is why we went back.However this time the health concern is far too serious to ignore, we went in knowing that our new born son is very allergic to Cows milk, therefore my wife is having to have a dairy free diet otherwise she passes this on to our son through breast milk.So we asked at the counter if some foods had cows milk in them and the answer both shocked and surprised us, they said and I quote you need to buy it and then check it yourselves.This is not just a disgusting attitude to have but can also be dangerous, luckily we do not take the risk with anything as it would effect our son terribly.We reported them to the food standards agency and they are going to be contacting them over this incident. We have also reported them to trading standards, normally we wouldn’t resort to such action but that attitude was awful and we felt that this can be very dangerous.I would avoid this’d place at all costs!

Very much improved, not in product quality that was always good. But now they take card payments. Friendly and helpful with a good fish and chip choice variety. Quantities and also generous. Being a Northerner I know a good chip shop.

Delighted with cleanliness and staff politeness. Disappointed with cod and soggy chips. Portion of the fish was good though and oil seemed fresh. I'd try again without the chips for sure.

Friendly service, 15 minute wait for regular cod and chips to be freshly cooked, which was fine, but when I tucked in 10 minutes later I was really disappointed. The chips were flabby which is nothing unusual, but the batter on the cod was soggy on the outside, with some sort of uncooked paste on the inside. I ended up picking out the fish. A most unpleasant meal.
