Extremely busy but we were lucky to find a table to accommodate 8 of us. Ordered using the app and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our drinks and food arrived.Only criticism would be the smell in the toilets and the fact some of the doors wouldn't lock.

As it is located right next to Waverly train station this Weatherspoons is nearly always jam packed, but it is a great location and has a lot of seating so if you are willing to stand around for a bit you can usually manage to grab a seat eventually. The food and drinks are pretty standard Spoons level, maybe slightly more expensive than some others I've been in but overall, a fine place to grab a quick drink or a little food!

I visited here yesterday with 2 friends, one of whom has mobility problems. Although they are doing table service, after seeing another customer being brought a coffee from the self service machine, she asked if she could be brought one. The answer from the young male server was a rude "nah" as he walked off. This was brought to the attention of another member of staff who said he would have a word with the staff member concerned but there was no apology. We also witnessed this happening to another customer who clearly had severe mobility issues and was using a walker.Absolutely shocking service and way to treat customers.

You know what you're getting at a Spoons but unfortunately today they even managed to get lower than my already low expectations.Very poor sanitisation, had to ask staff on 2 occasions to clean the table and even then it was a half hearted attempt. Would hate to see what her own kitchen was like!!Drinks arrived as I was finishing my lunch and we even chased up the staff and the standard response of "theyre just getting poured the now", like phoning a taxi and repearedly being told its "round the corner".We ordered 2 steaks, I know..... But however i was assured they would be fair to middlinThey arrived and they were well over cooked and had more rhind, gristle and backbone than the current Cabinet at Westminster.Slightly disappointed

It's a good place to be at weatherspoons pub where its located right next to the waverly train station, it was a bit crowded and noisy but staff are very friendly

I was very disappointed. I used the so as requested by the signage on the pub.I waited for over 30 minutes for my drinks, even after chasing after 18 minutes. You want us to keep everyone safe by ordering through the app which I did, yet people were getting their drinks instantly by queuing and ordering at the bar. There were 3 people serving at the bar, but one doing table orders. This is rubbish, I couldn't even finish our drinks as we had revelations elsewhere. It takes away from your keep safe message and encourages a lack of social distancing.

Located right next to Edinburgh Waverly station this is a nice place for a quick drink and a typical spoons meal before boarding the train or as a nice little relaxer after a stressful journey.

Me and my husband were first time visitors, and we had to catch a 11 o clock train to London and wanted to have some filling breakfast before that. We were comfortably seated by the lovely staff,on socially distanced seats and the service was really quick. We both had Mushroom Eggs Benedict. It was absolutely yummy! And later we decided to try the sides like hash browns and mushrooms. Absolutely loved the experience. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Edinburgh.

Had a fantastic time here on a Tuesday afternoon/evening. Food was good and drinks were fantastic, especially with the prices. If you're sharing your table number online to get extra drinks from friends or family (as we did), currently the staff will stop this from happening as soon as they realise or otherwise you may be kicked out from ordering too many drinks!!
