The Good Earth in Waverley

Amazing service, probably the best restaurants service I've had for years which was very refreshing. Food was great quality unlike most Chinese restaurants... And the best part is I didn't get an upset stomach after, which I normally do when having Chinese food. Would highly recommend. Was amazing.

This restaurant is MUCH bigger than it first appears so still go in if it looks busy and you’ll probably still be seated. This was such a lovely dining experience for us; it’s spacious, clean, the staff were really quick and attentive and the food was perfect; the spring rolls for example have a decent filling and were fried in fresh oil. Highly recommend for dining in and I will be trying takeaway.

Such a lovely evening, left feeling happy. Possibly the best chinese food i've ever had. This place is immaculate and the food is incredible. Had the set menu which has an excellent range of dishes. We decided to have desert which is not part of the menu, but, I highly recommend trying the banana and apple toffee with vanilla ice cream. Thank you to the staff for making the evening extra special. A truly memorable evening.

I've visited this restaurant many times. Although I've always enjoyed my meal, on occasions the service has been questionable. Not on this occasion though. We were extremely happy with both our food AND service from all waiters during our visit.Thank you.

Eaten here 3 times, food has always been excellent, freshly cooked, every mouthful really tasty, staff are friendly and attentive, its lovely seeing same staff on each visit. I build my London trips around a meal here to complete my day & take an uber to Kings Cross for the train home, always ready for my next meal here, wish they had a closer restaurant.

Very good food, definitely worth the price tag. Service is very efficient but still friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively but didn’t feel too busy even when full on a Friday night. Highly recommend the beef clay pot!

The tables are absolutely jam packed together so you're fighting elbows with the person next to you. The tall male waiter was incredibly rude the entire time, and at one point laughed in my mothers face when she asked a normal question about the food.The menu was different than expected, not really authentic Chinese flavours in any way. Won't be returning. Wish we read the lower reviews before coming here. Never again.On the plus side, the lady waitress and the man on the door were both really nice and friendly. If only the same could be said for the rest of our experience.

This restaurant definitely deserves better reviews. This is the best Chinese food me and my partner ever had. The quality of the food is very good. You actually feel good after eating chinese from The Good Earth. The staff can be a bit more friendly but our overall everything was 5 stars.

An excellent Chinese in Wandsworth. Has an excellent range of dishes and friendly service.The Crispy duck is always good.Crispy Chilli Beef is excellent.Lovely family atmosphere.Taking COVID measure, table are nicely spaced out.

You pay for the quality, service and atmosphere. It is good to have the option of a good quality Chinese restaurant in the area. WillDefo go back
