We enjoyed a delightful meal, food was scrumptious and had service with a smile. The atmosphere is relaxed with a modern décor. My only reason for 4* and not 5* is the price; it's genuine daylight robbery. I probably wont be returning for that reason, otherwise if you can afford it, I would recommend visiting!

Visited with some friends on a Friday evening. We appreciated that it was busy and were still served relatively quickly when we arrived but to get 3 out of 4 orders wrong was just crazy! Especially as one dish came out with allergens on it when clearly stated what those allergies were at the beginning, the other was missing half the ingredients and the third was just completely the wrong dish! We waited over 30 mins for our second round of drinks and whilst some of the staff were very helpful we were made to feel like it was us and not them. They did take off some of the drinks and a meal from the bill, but for the pricey menu I would have expected a much better level of service. I hope they can do something about it for future customers.

Great food and brilliant service. On the pricey side but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious.

I had a very lovely meal here! There is a brilliant pizza oven with deliciously made pizzas. Other food is also very good too. The pub itself is very similar to an Italian restaurant. There is loads of seating too and some nice areas such as a garden. Would recommend to others.

Having lived virtually next door to the lost boy and had many disappointing experiences so we stopped visiting. Following the last lockdown we decided to go back in the hope our experience would be much improved. To our surprise there was a 100% change so much so we booked for Christmas day lunch. The service just got better each time and seeing the same staff gave us confidence that finally there was consistency and nice to see a familiar face. We have become regulars eating there once a week even having a favourite table and as a disabled person it's nice to sit at the usual table and their disabled facilities are spot on. There has been a change in management and Graham the general manager has brought such positivity and warmth and is a real people person nothing is ever too much trouble. We celebrated ourwedding anniversary there this week and were made to feel so special with a complementary bottle of Fizz and a special dessert such a lovely addition to our celebration. We take our hats off to Graham, Ashley and Alex working last night and all of his lovely team and looking forward to next week's visit. Give it a try it really has all the qualities of a top rated restaurant. Well done!! Chrissy and Andy

Very nice inside with a large outside seating area. The staff were friendly and attentive. We encountered a slight issue but was resolved quickly, and professionally. The food was good and well priced. Overall we had a pleasant time, and it's worth giving the place a try.

I went on a monday night expecting it to be quite empty. It was full. The ambience is perfect. The food was also good. However, my meal came out early compared to my husband's meal where we needed to chase which was disappointing. Other than that, food was good and we had a great evening - thank you!

Really really great breakfast experience here! Both our dishes were excellent - the poached eggs were done perfectly! The waiter was lovely! All round would recommend and can't wait to try dinner there!

I feel as though Covid may have lowered the standards here. Great building, beautiful inside. Food mostly decent but went for Sunday lunch at 3pm and they had run out of all options. Pretty average service. The child's burger they tried to pass as a meal was a dried out, miniscule burnt black offering around half the size of the bun. See photo. Sent it back and it was replaced with a proper one, but if I'd been in the kitchen I'd be ashamed to send it out. Alternative food wasn't what any of us wanted and I feel a bit let down by the place. Certainly room for improvement.

Outside booking for work do, 10 of us in the evening, rain was constant but good service, good food and lovely waiter Samuel was attentive all night.Only criticism, items with chips appeared small in size but no complaints, had pasta with chicken it was stunning, so good few had pudding. Delicious, delightful and drooling food, loved it, will come again
