Evening meal after a wonder day on the canal. Food was ok but there missing a trick as far as advertising goes! Need a bigger sign so boats can see them. Needs an upgrade for sure

Breakfast and dinner, both lovely. Times are optimistic so make sure you arrive at least an hour before they stop serving. Reasonable

Went for breakfast today, the waiter was very friendly and attentive (apologies I forgot his name). Breakfast was great and excellent value for money! Would recommend and will definately be back.

Really disappointing visit last night. The three front of house staff (two waiting tables, one on the bar) were doing their best, but the kitchen was missing ingredients and very slow.Starters: Nachos came with no guacamole (out of avocados) and DIY salsa (chopped tomato and red onion in separate bowls). Calamari was over-fried. Chopped salad was good.Mains: they had run out of fillet (8pm on Saturday) and also no prawns, so Surf n Turf was so off. Apparently other fish options were off the menu too. We all had sirloin which, to be fair, was reasonable meat and cooked as ordered. However the char grilled veg were variously burnt and raw, the grilled tomatoes were virtually untouched by the griddle and the mushrooms were cold.We didn't stay for desert. One star to recognise the front of house staff and the steaks themselves, but we won't return.

Lovely beer garden, partly covered in daisies, in a choice location by the river. Perfect for a quiet drink with friends and loved ones.

Hideous and disappointing to say the least! Popped in for a quick bite and waited for a very long time even though it wasn’t in the slightest bit busy! Food was cold, wrong and generally below even the lowest standard. AVOID

My dad died very suddenly so wanted to have wake next to crem in Guildford, we had around 39 guests that came to the wake we paid for buffet platinum for 40 guests ( as often a lot less do attend in my opinion) basically we paid £500 for the platinum buffet including tea / coffee and cakes , the buffet was not enough for 40 guests it ran out very very quickly , for example 3 trays of triangle sandwiches, , 1 small bowl of all sides including sausage rolls chicken wings etc , very disappointing if I had done this buffet at home it would have cost no more than £100. It didn’t ruin our send off for my dad but very disappointing as many guests including myself and my sister went totally without

Big car park, room for the van. Large restaurant area. We came here for a buffet at a Wake and the food was standard apart from a vegetarian pie with squash in that was pretty dam spectacular. The staff here where especially nice and very helpful to.
