Atmospheric place. The staff give you a leaflet about its history with your menu! Nice garden. Plenty of parking space. Reasonable prices for food. Food pleasant but not remarkable. Staff friendly and helpful. Loos OK. Wheelchair access.

Great location with lots of space. Brilliant service and superb red wine called the guvnor.However my Broccoli and Stilton salad was not up to the menu description. It had little stilton in evidence and no caramelised pecans.

Beautiful place. Rustic, spacious, delicious. Stop here if you are visiting this part of Surrey.

If I only could give 10* I would. Place is absolutely incredible, beautiful interior, amazing garden, great for drinks only or for a meal. Food is amazing, even children options are great. Definitely a lot of flavours, food is not bland, probably the best squid I've ever had. Really really good, child and dog friendly which makes the place even more adorable.

The friend I came with is gluten intolerant and we were SO impressed with how large the gluten free menu was! The food was delicious, service was very friendly, and the restaurant itself was gorgeous. We made our reservation on a total whim and are so glad we did because it really made our night.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to find us a table on a walk in when it was Christmas period.The food was delicious. Above average, which made for a really enjoyable experience, and the prices were very reasonable.A must visit for anyone passing through or nearby.

Absolutely gorgeous pub on the outskirts of Godalming, Surrey. Traditional log beams, open fire, and wonderful atmosphere. Plenty of parking, covered outside area, and the staff are great. Been coming here since the 90s and would highly recommend.

It was very busy being in between Christmas and New Year when we went there. The staff were efficient and friendly. I had a burger, which was not bad but neither that brilliant. That's why I gave it a 4*. Overall a good experienceI would go again.

Christmas Day. Impressive. Staff friendly and helpful, atmosphere likewise. Happy people with enough room to enjoy and delight in delicious food. Two and a half hours of good company and fine wine. The dessert wine was a pleasant surprise. Care and attention on the busiest day of the year. The staff deserved a five.
