Very fresh/delicious portuguese food. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and treats everyone with respect.

Delicious francesinha. I also got a nice free pen when I went here. You might not also get a pen, I think it was an Easter thing. You will have a great meal here though. Also tried a Guarana Antarctica here and now I'm tempted to buy a £23 case of the infuriatingly good soft drink off Amazon

We were supposed to be lunching at the Canton Arms down the road, but they aren't doing food. Instead we had an excellent meal at this Portuguese cafe. I had spaghetti bolognese with mushrooms. John had tapas. Two different channels of portuguese TV were on the go.

It's home cooking on a budget.The calamari rings tasted pasty as was all batter and likely bought frozen. The seafood rice was overcooked and looked like basmati type of rice when I expected more Mediterranean rice, however I don't know much about Portuguese cooking. Portions were large, very large so the right place if you have a good appetite. Staff was nice.

This is a nice hidden gem in Stockwell! On the outside, it looks like an ordinary cafe, but it’s anything but that.All the dishes we had were freshly cooked, generous in portion and tasted like they were homemade, authentic Portuguese food.There were 5 of us and we only had to pay around £18 each for a sumptuous feast that could feed more than 5.Shout out to our server, Silvana as well for being so attentive and accommodating.I’ll definitely come back and bring my family next time. :)

A family business. A little corner makes you feel like you are in Portugal, love the environment, really tasty food and good portions. In my opinion a bit overpriced on the “tapas menu” compared with some other restaurants around, however, this is definitely a good place to go with your family or friends.
