The White Hart in Waverley

Nice place but the worse roast dinner ever. It took less than 10min for the food to be served which clearly shows the food was reheated rather than cooked. The roasted vegetables were burnt. Shame that I didn't took an initial picture but there's a picture for reference of the massive brocoli stem on our plate. The reviews are clearly old as it didn't reflect the food we received.Also to mention the state of the napkins/tea cloth ☹️☹️☹️☹️

The meat platter was just awesome, dont know which part was my favourite.. I chose not to even touch the tortillas as I thought I'm not having any carbs to slow my meat progress!The pork belly was soo tender and sweet 😋 the short rib was just how you want it, turkey so moist and smokey. Some great skill 👏 👌

This is a bit of a find. This is a proper smokehouse pub not to be confused by chemical smoking. This has 3 smokers which can be smelt throughout the pub (in a nice way). The owner was inspired by a world famous Texas BBQ smokehouse and the love of South African BBQ food. I doubt there is anything like this place anywhere , the food is amazing and I have tasted nothing like it. The staff are knowledgeable and very polite . The choice of drinks is amazing from rare whisky's ,real ales and great gins. The prices are very reasonable in this escalating world. Good work everyone.

Absolutely delicious food, best bbq meat I’ve ever eaten. Dog friendly and a great selection of drinks. Will be back as soon as I can!

Excellent burgers, the KFC burger and the BOTM Harry Broke The Internet burger pictured. Incredibly tasty. Burgers served very quickly. Good music in the background, REM, The Doors, Joy Divison. Excellent drink selection. Outside seating as well.

A lovely place with a great variety of dishes, including delicious starters, ribs, steaks and lots of other food (veggie and vegan options too). Great place. Brilliant food. We sat outside under the heat lamps. The beef smoked brisket is top. Proper good roast. Great menu. An all around win

Easily one of the best places I have had the pleasure of dining at. The food was amazing (I had the burger of the month on Burger Tuesday no less) and the beer was fantastic. They have a great range of sides (get the Korean wings, they wont disappoint 😎) I honestly can't recommend this place enough. Great music, atmosphere and service. If you find yourself in the Witley area and want to wow your friends and family with a great place to eat then The White Hart is the place to go! Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

A great place. Called on the off chance of a table on a Saturday afternoon. They were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Great service, very attentive and a decent menu of American bbq style. Lovely interior combining old and new world. Highly recommended.
