Waitrose in Waverley

Nevill road store is good . I like the bakery and fruit and veg. Store laid out well. Wish it had a bigger and better quality of plants on display. Current ones not great and not kept watered. Most look quite sad. ☹️

if you shop carefully there are some deals to be had and I compared with sainsbury and sainsbury was more expensive as they had less deals. The fruit and veg are good quality and last well like sometimes nearly a week BUT they get you o the wine and beer prices and also the temptations delivery maybe the way to go. for this aspect. The SELL BY DATES ARE TOO SHORT compared to sainsbury.

The best store ever. Good prices and really good offers.They have wide range of products like organic, free from, local etc...Freshly hand made shushi!Coffee shop, toilet, cash machine, pharmacy.I can recommend.

Recent convert to Waitrose following Sainsbury's closing of their Cafe at West Hove. Waitrose have a Cafe at the Hove shop so now do the shopping here and enjoy the coffee and cake afterwards. Good shopping experience too

Me and my friend went to buy some dinner for a movie night like normal people. Were 16 and the whole time we were followed around by a security guard who was obviously just following us. I even randomly walked down different isles and he still closely followed us. I don't think we looked particularly suspicious, we were wearing jeans and t-shirts. That being said it's got good food if your able to pay a little bit extra than other shops. Need to sort out the security tho.

Gotta love Waitrose. Always a lovely selection of things you might not see in other places. Good cakes, great breads and produce. Always friendly and charming people working there. It's a great supermarket. 🍰

We shopped on Saturday morning 12th Feb 22 and went to butchers fresh meat counter. The guy there was lovely, we bought some cubed braising steak and have to say it was the best we have ever tasted. It made a fantastic casserole. Thankyou to farmers and Waitrose for incredible quality. 💚

Bit on the expensive side because the meal deal was £25. I could go to tesco and get the same thing for £3. I also ate a sandwhich that gave me crippling dihaoreea, tasted yummy tho (not saying which tasted goog.)

I am not happy with my experience in Waitrose today. I bought half a rotisserie chicken. First of all they were all different sizes for the same price which I think is unacceptable. Second the guy who served me hastily grabbed a chicken by his choice without asking me which one I want and I did't have a chance to even have a good look at it. Of course he took one of the smallest, which I found out later at home. I don't feel this is right and this is not the quality that customers expect for the premium we pay. Poor service and unfair pricing, very disappointing.
