Zizzi - Farnham in Waverley

Just had dinner here, and it wasn’t what I expected. The Bruschetta did not feel like a bruschetta..i think they tried to reinvent the wheel on that one if you know what i mean, the tomatoes were way to chunky. The wild boar meatball, well….took some time to find the meat as a ball…not sure what happened there 😂😂. The only thing going for this place was the friendly waitress we had.

Was a very very busy night with very poor service. The waitress even said they had over 200 people booked for one evening. This resulted in waiting 40 minutes for our drinks and even longer for food. Then starters not being ready at the same time and being sent back twice as they were cold.Not the best customer service. Would recommend not going on a Saturday evening!

Very disappointed! Service was slow.First and second choice fish dishes not available.Pasta dish arrived warm in the middle but elsewhere cold and subsequently replaced.Our table was positioned close to a wall that needed a good clean to remove splashes of food and drink. I don’t think we will be returning.

Nice staff, main issue was lack of items on menu and we were there at 5.30pm on a Saturday its not like we turned up end of the evening. The added issue was after ordering and then waiting we were told about lack of items on menu so overall whilst the staff were very nice, the back up behind the scenes wasn't great and therefore a double birthday gathering wasn't as enjoyable as we would have hoped

Yaz was our waitress tonight and was exceptional! Had a really great time with friendly service and good food! Definitely will be eating here again - thank you for the fun evening :)

Amazing.. Beautiful food, very quick turnaround.. Nothing as too much trouble. Food was hot, beautifully presented and tasted amazing!

Its not easy going for dinner with Toddler but the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. I had a pizza and my wife had the rib with potato and the second her rib tirned up i had food envy, the rib was so soft it melted of the bone and the potatoes were delicious i highly recommend it. Cant wait to go back already

This restaurant may have high demand and special menu. However from the Riders prospect. I felt very unsatisfied with staffs. I came cross to pick up Deliveroo order few times in ZiZi. Every time I went to pick up the order. The staffs have been very unhelpful. Basically when I asked one of the staff if the order is ready or getting ready, either they pretend of not heard or point out to ask other staffs. Clearly firstly they undermining or ignoring Riders and secondly they are not caring those customer who orders food through online.

The staff were brilliant and the food was great too.Was sad to see so few customers in the restaurant at Christmas (due to Covid Cancellations) but the staff made us feel special and got everything absolutely right for the party of 10 of us.It's great to have a Zizzi's in Farnham - my advice is use it or lose it - it's a great restaurant.The Beef Short-Rib is superb.Thanks to everyone at Zizi Farnham for looking after us so well, and Happy Christmas to you all.

Visit was disappointing. Table booked for 5pm on a Sunday because eating with a toddler. Arrived, only 2 other tables seated. Stood waiting to be acknowledged for a few minutes despite staff passing by. It doesn't take long to say hi and "be with you in a minute". Seated and took 10 minutes to be approached for order, even just for drinks. When ordering we were not told that various dishes were unavailable until we tried to order them! This should be explicit from the outset when given menus 3 of the main non pizza dishes unavailable. Food arrived quickly but it just wasn't up to the same standard or presentation that we, as regular Zizzi customers have come to expect. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks and getting someone's attention proved tricky. There appeared to be only two non uniformed members of staff serving with a couple of other staff in Zizzi t-shirts behind the bar. Despite having a crying toddler and clearly trying to settle up, the bill was bought over and then it took another age to be able to pay it!. All in all, service was poor, food was average and the venue itself is looking tired and a bit grubby. Not a great experience and will probably now swerve this branch.
