Abergavenny Arms Pub & Restaurant in Wealden

We booked a table for dinner this evening and had to call ahead when due to roadworks on A21, had to detour. Informed that we would be arriving around 30 mins later than our reservation and were told this wouldn’t be a problemOn arrival we were greeted by Claire who made us very welcome and seated us in the lovely dining area.Food was absolutely delicious and service and attention by Claire & Joe was friendly and efficient.We had a relaxing and unrushed dining experience and will definitely be back soonHighly recommended 😊

Our visit was by chance on way to a funeral. We had 2 Steak meals and a duck starter. The steak and garnish was the best I've ever had. We arrived at lunchtime , very welcoming feel. TOP MARKS

Excellent!!! We came in for a drink as we were waiting for friends to arrive in Tunbridge Wells. Friendly staff and quick service, will definitely come back.

Had breakfast in a pod, was ok but breakfast not great for the price

Very kind hosts. They were especially patient with my 92 year old mother. Spotlessly clean and a great welcome. Great range of Beers and food. Will definitely be visiting again

Was going to eat but decided just to have 1 drink and look elsewhere, as £18.95 for a standard roast or £24.99 for the mixed meat version was just not justified by the dinners I was. We even had to wait nearly 15 for the drinks to arrive as the young lad serving us must have been new, as he didn't have a clue what he was doing. Even paying the bill bill was an experience. To much chatting and not enough working, as there was enough stuff to cope. Don't let youngers run a pub if they are not interested or don't know how to deal with customers.

Imaginative food cooked to perfection, elegant surroundings and attentive staff. One of the best restaurants in/near Tunbridge Wells. Highly recommended!

Imaginative, well presented food which tasted great. Polite, professional service. Portions a little on the small side for the price, another veggie option on the mains needed and service a little slow at times although it was Saturday night. (better background music would also be appreciated, although that is personal preference). Banana souffle was delicious!

We had one of thier pods for the Valentine's Tasting Menu tonight and it was just perfect. Our server Clare was lovely - thank you for making the evening so lovely. The pod so beautiful and the menu was flawless. Couldn't have asked for a better evening 💕
