Fantastic site, warm welcome from lovely staff, easy access, nice flat field where you pick your spot in a great location and firepits available for use. The facilities are spot on and the shower is better than ours at home ☺. There is only 1 shower and 3 loos but plenty enough for our stay with no queues. Thankyou for a excellent experience we will be back for sure

My pub of choice in, East Sussex, come here often. Good selection of beer (Camden Hells is the favourite) and excellent food (try their pies). Lots of good local seafood often on the specials menu if that's what you are into. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

Well if you want to eat I'd recommend booking in advance as I personally hate being disappointed. Menu is excellent. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. We stumbled across this place looking at the local attractions. The campsite is very reasonably priced. Facilities are excellent for such a small site. Peaceful on our stay I'd highly recommend this site for the novice or experienced camper. Firepits allowed and dog friendly. 10/10.

The chicken and ham pie and steak and Guinness pie were excellent and served with beautifully crunchy vegetables. Even the chocolate brownie seemed homemade. On top of that, the service was so friendly and efficient. A perfect meal, thank you.

We had our evening meal at The Bull Inn.The staff are so friendly and professional. The food is excellent. My husband had the chicken pie 10/10. I had the seafood platter 10/10. So reasonably priced and delicious. Thank you The Bull Inn.

A very good, reliable pub. Several cask Ales, excellent food, warm friendly atmosphere, and a nicely plotted patio and garden area. A pub that does what pubs should do, which is becoming something of a rarity. A real gem!

Love this pub. Staff are so friendly and the food is amazing, I've been here many times and never had a bad meal. A really lovely traditional pub where everyone is made to feel so welcome. Top notch quality food much more than you expect from pubs nowadays. Highly recommended

If you are looking for a warm, cosy and friendly place to submerge yourself in delicious food, then this the place to go.A miserable wet weather Sunday was instead enjoyed very much.Food was excellent, service was superb and we look forward to coming back for a nice roast.Thank you for looking after us 😁👍

We booked in to stay at the campsite and obviously ate at the pub twice. Nothing beats having a campsite attached to a pub!Firstly, the campsite is great. The owner purposefully only has a limited number of pitches available despite ample room for more. This allows everyone plenty of room and the ability to spread out and feel private. The bathroom / shower facilities aren’t luxurious (we are camping after all!) but are well maintained, clean and stocked with toilet paper. The campsite also allows fires with a number of fire pits provided. We ran into the owner one morning and when we confessed we forgot to bring coffee, he immediately offered to bring us some. What a legend! Would recommend and would stay here againNow onto the food - we ordered a number of dishes including the fish and chips, pies, burgers, ham and eggs and sausages. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food with large portions and great flavours. The chunky, crisp chips in particular were delicious!
