Delivery was over a hour late than time slot I booked. Phoned and was told this only s estimated time. Why have time slots. Food was cold and portion sizes very small compared to other Chinese I have used in past in uckfield.

Always a decent meal quick turn around, never miss anything in the order.

So after maybe using this Chinese more than 4 times in 6 months I can honestly say don't waste your money. Tonight's meal was above the worst take away I have ever had everything tasted of chilli everything. It was disgusting. The rice was like glue. The rest just wamn and all tasted the same it went in the bin. We have complained before and nothing is done. So don't waste your breath or your money.There are much better take aways in and around Uckfield and Crowborough offering a far better service with food that is what you order our dinner is in the bin it was so bad will never use again nor ever recommend to anyone. Avoid at all cost's.

Moved into the area and was looking for a good Chinese. Read the reviews and thought give them a go. I have ordered from them a number of times, so not a knee -jerk decision.I can not recommend. Last 3 times the food was barely warm, despite turning up when they told me to. Twice I turned up, asked for my order then waited around - which is fine, but not when you find out you waited whilst your food was sitting on the side getting cold.Gave them one last chance tonight, ordered on-line which was a bit of a faff. Again turned up a few minutes early, after he found the order - waited around for 15 minutes and was handed luke warm food AGAIN. This time I challenged them to say this was cold, they said it was just cooked. That was a total lie. Gave up trying to get them to understand came home to a cold dinner.The food is not bad. Service is totally unacceptable and won't be long before someone gets food poisoning. Don't use.

Delicious food and friendly service. Have eaten here many times and they're my favourite takeaway.The food is uniformly hot and cooked fresh, and there is a good variety of dishes.In particular I have found the oyster sauce beef, king prawn egg foo yung and house special curry very tasty.

I hardly ever bother to write reviews but this food was so poor that I felt compelled to warn other diners.We normally have a take away about twice a month but it was a Monday night and our kitchen was upside down after having work done and our favourite Chinese takeaway was closed, we didn't bother reading the reviews which was a mistake as the food (and here I'm being polite) at Canton was virtually inedible, the best item we had was the pancake rolls, a but given the uniformity of their construction, they had obviously been bought in.Chicken balls were stodgy & doughy and the chop suey & chow mein were vinegary.Please do your homework before ordering from this restaurant, I wish that we had!Julie

TERRIBLE, pancake rolls supermarket fare, chicken balls were doughy and stodgy, as for the chow mein and chop suey don't even go there. Final nail was even though the take away cost £26 we didn't even get any prawn crackers for the dog!!! If I could have given them no stars I would have!!

A real shame as was told it's a fab takeaway. Crispy Chilli beef was pure mush, chicken balls soggy and mushy on inside, satay sauce was bland and looked like someone had sucked it up, chicken in satay sauce had no flavour. All good need heating up. Prawn crackers and chicken rice was nice tho.
