Community Oven in Wealden

We hired Miles and his team to provide the evening food for our wedding guests and they were absolutely brilliant! The communication was prompt from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, even providing us with their Covid risk assessments in the weeks leading up to the day with all the confusion surrounding changing guidelines.The pizzas were delicious and anything we couldn't eat was cooked for guests to take away. Huge thanks to Miles for correspondence and his team for making amazing pizzas on our wedding day just over a week ago! Competitive rate which was so helpful during these times and great food! My only wish is that they had been able to do some garlic bread!Will recommend to others!

The concept of Community Oven is brilliant and Damien and the team are absolutely wonderful human beings. We booked the Community Oven for a corporate event - it killed two birds with one stone; a group activity and catering but it was so much more than that, there was a social message with it and one that highlighted the importance of communal eating. We loved every minute and I think the whole team have left with a better sense of how to make a great Pizza.... Thank you guys!

We had the Community Oven for our wedding reception. Everyone raved about how fantastic the pizzas were; with their only complaint being there wasn’t more. Damien and his team were so helpful, helping to clean up the mess and were very flexible when the pizzas ran out and managed to make up another 10 for our guests. In the planning stages, Damien was very responsive to emails and helpful. I’d also like to add that the cost was very competitive. Thank you so much for catering our day. We loved it.

We booked community oven for our wedding and were not disappointed! The pizzas were amazing and months later our guests are still raving about them. There didn't seem to be any delay either. The pizzas were getting out really fast. I forgot to eat as I was running around doing bride things and one of the ladies came and hand delivered me a pizza that I chomped on whilst dancing and mingling. I recommend them to everyone and can't wait to come back and get another pizza from the Kings Head when I'm back in Sussex. Thanks!

Community Oven were our evening caterers at our Marquee wedding on 4th August 2018 at Frickley Lake. From start to finish Damien was great with communication and very responsive in answering our many questions. Everyone absolutely loved the pizzas and said how yummy they were which is down to them being freshly cooked to order. We booked the Community oven for a birthday night, and they turned up nice and early to get prepared and were very friendly. The pizzas were just fantastic. You ordered the pizza and then watched it being made and cooked. all in less than 5 minutes. We would highly recommend using them, as everyone commented on how great the pizzas were. Damien and his co workers are making a real success of this business. Most important of all are the great pizzas they create - some lovely toppings - a fab idea for evening food at a wedding! Well done guys - wouldn't hesitate to recommend you!
