Forno Antico Italian Trattoria & Pizzeria in Wealden

Came here for lunch today. The food tasted fresh and full of flavour. The service was prompt and friendly. It was very good value for money. Much nicer than the chain italiens and no more expensive.

My partner and I had a lovely meal here last night.Lasagne and Spaghetti Bolognese Doughballs with Nutella and Caprese Cake. This is our 3rd visit and food is excellent,Staff very pleasant and friendly Service very good. Definitely recommend Best in Uckfield.

Just wanted to share that La Stalla is our absolute favourite across the board for take away. Their burgers and pizzas and the best in town, the quality is exceptional for the same price as others on Just Eat. Quality ingredients, wholesome and tasty with great portion sizes. Everything arrives hot and on time. I’m a big fan of their pastas too, even got a steak for my birthday in lockdown and it was exceptional. The restaurant never seems all that busy but we can not fault their food!

Took wife to lunch here today, sadly we were the only customer's they had.People you don't know what you are missing.Superb proper Italian food very reasonably priced.Do give them a visit you won't regret it.Back soon Vinney.

Missing items on delivery. Soggy chips and lasagne tasted like a cheap ready meal!Only positive was Uber eats gave me a refund straight away for the missing item.

We had a takeaway. Amazing service. Our order was ready for collection on time. Presentation was excellent in the way the food was packed. I have eaten once in the restaurant. The food is beautiful. The restaurant is hidden from the main road, so i am concerned that it does not get noticed by people. I do think it is a hidden gem. Will recommend to all friends in the area.

Awsome food. Tried a takeaway for the first time last night. I had spicy chicken wings and a burger. Was blown away by the flavour really nice to taste authentic ingredients. Forget the chains in uckfield this place wins hands down. Really varied menu too. My partner had a pizza which you could tell was cooked the proper way and served fresh. Definitely will go back for our Italian needs!

Great little gem in the bottom of the high street. The staff are great , very friendly and attentive. Speedy service.The meals were avarage. However we will go again, there is plenty of choice on the menu and this was our first time we visited and the prices are good value.

The pizzas are incredible, we had a Diavola (in the picture) and a 4 Stagioni. They are cooked to perfection, the ingredients are quality, even the tomato sauce on the pizza is noticably tasty.Sadly the Bruschetta wasn't great. It was a huge portion (around 10ins per piece) on baguette, when its normally slices of ciabatta. The tomato mix on top was tasty enough, but the bread was chewy and burnt in places on top. We had most of one piece but left the other.We will DEFINITELY be buying pizza again though, need to try a pasta dish too.
