Halfway House in Wealden

Good local pub, great pint of Harvey's good food, friendly landlord and lady.

Waitress was lovely. This place has changed landlords since we last went,not as welcoming.

Stopped off for an impromptu meal on the way home. Good variety on the menu. I can definitely recommend the ham egg and chip. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

After not going here for 20 years I finally found myself revisiting and was glad to find that it hadn't changed a bit. A cracking wooden beamed pub.

Really lovely traditional pub, with healthy Sunday roast portions and even a dessert board brought to your table! It's honestly like stepping back in time to the 90s (or earlier!) Don't get many honest, old school pubs with great service, traditional good quality food and a lovely Springer spaniel to greet you at the door. Highly recommend. Also liked the veggie roast option.

We had roast pork. It was very good. Nice and hot. The staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere.will be going back again

Clean, very friendly, good location to where I am now living. Yet to try food but menu looks very inviting :-)

My family and I booked in advance for a Sunday roast in December. It wasn't too busy and we were served very quickly. Food was great and enjoyed by everyone. Staff were all very friendly. Food and drinks very reasonably priced. All round great pub atmosphere and worth traveling a bit to go to. Thanks!

Good beef sandwich and cheese ploughman's with lots of Cheddar. Washed down with Harvey's.Great for light lunch. Main menu looked good but only after a snack which was more than I would normally eat at lunchtime.
