Great choice of cafe food, freshly cooked with friendly service.We enjoyed a Ploughman's with 3 different cheeses, including a local Brighton Blue.Lovely to sit outside on the Village Green.

Excellent service, clean and pleasant cafe, good selection of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Really lovely location with free parking about 100 meters from the cafe.

Nice location to stop for a coffee and snack. Good choice of hot and cold food. Service was friendly with a warm welcome.

Fab stop off on walk - with our dog welcomed and given free treats! Also on request an ice cream tub of water. Happy doggie. We had delicious cake and tea.Clean and spacious and modern, very pleasant well designed cafe. Able to socially distance from other guests. Very friendly staff.We will be back!

Unbelievably HR has improved since my last visit. I say unbelievably because when I visited last time it was excellent. Both myself & my wife really enjoyed the meals we had because they were delicious and well presented. Although they were very busy when we visited it was obvious that they were trying to get our meals to us asap. There seems to be a great ambience in this cafe /restaurant and the toilets were very clean.Staff were both friendly & helpful which was a little bit different to when we visited before. That is not meant to be a criticism of the previous owners who made our visit enjoyable but the new owners just seem to be able to add that extra touch of friendliness to their customers than the previous owners. Its worth giving a caveat here because for whatever reasons the previous owners were clearly very stressed and I would imagine that is why they moved on.So should you visit HR ! Most definitely Because your have a great meal at a great location that is reasonably priced.
