I love this place and cannot wait to start shopping here properly again. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who have endless patience in helping us pick out the best plants for our current project. It is a pleasant place to walk around, not just for the plants but the grounds in general. Stop by the cafe and have some lunch and you have a decent morning or afternoon out. Plants are always well presented and it is so nice to have the option of sizes of each type. You can choose how much you want to spend and if you want a ready made garden or watch it develope. And everything here is sensibly priced. I think my partner just invents new projects so we have an excuse to go back. Oh, no, that would be me.

Had a lovely afternoon here. Had a light lunch and a look around the shop. Not masses of things to buy but some unusual bits and pieces and a very good selection of indoor plants. Wandered round outside too and was impressed by their shrubs, trees etc and some very nice planters. Was well set up to comply with Covid restrictions too.

We had breakfast (table of 4) this morning at Olives. The Olives Sussex breakfast is good 1 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, fried sliced potato’s, baked toms with seasoning and beans. Ordered toast and black pudding as extras. All good quality ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. Bill was £65 overall which included 3 Sussex breakfasts, eggs on toast, 7 coffees (latte style) and two small tubs ice cream to go. Price was worth it for the quality of the food and we knew what to expect as had been there many times before lockdown. You have to book and you choose your table (we booked 10.45 to 12.30). On the downside all eggs were hard, and service was slow. Also doors are kept open and I know this is probably unavoidable but we were right near an open door and the cold drinks cabinet. Chattering teeth all round. My advice, don’t choose table 1. But for these negatives would have been 5 stars

What a wonderful family run nursery. Great knowledge of all of the plants, fabulous food, great coffee and cake to boot, what's not to love! Well worth a drive out and it is in a beautifully laid out setting too, unlike any other nursery.

Great garden centre. Lots of lovely things, and always something a little different. The cafe is fantastic, great breakfast and brunch options, also vegan options, regular specials and cakes. They used to have a small children's area, which they don't seem to have now, this is disappointing.

I called in here because I was told that the breakfasts in Olive's cafe were very good. This was not strictly true, because they are excellent! Very generous portions of high quality ingredients. The setting is delightful and the staff were very friendly. Next time I go, I might even look at the plants.

Lovely ground and a wide range of plants and trees. Slightly more expensive but you get quality so its worth it . Great tea room great value and loyalty card. Got a community feel with lots of activities so visit the website and garden.
