Luna in Wealden

Thank you La Luna so so much.Had the most fantastic evening last night celebrating my birthday.We had 50 People in the lovely new space at the back of the restaurent.The food and service was absolutely spot on. There was such an incredible variety of food and beautifully presented.Melisa and her team went above and beyond anyone could wish for.We were also lucky enough to have a great singer by the name of Isaac who had everyone up and dancing most of the night.I highly recommend this venue for any function you are looking to have.

Fantastic experience celebrating my 41st birthday! Excellent food and service!! Staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Melissa and Nicola (the waitresses). I highly recommend La Luna!I’ve eaten there 3 times so far and always been impressed with everything!

The ambiance is nice and cozy. We liked the quality and presentation of the food but I give 4 stars because of the small portion size the and over priced food. I had small glass of Las Dos white wine which costs around £9. It wasn’t a quality wine and tasted like an average house wine. Their small cheese board was around £18 consisted of few thin slices of 4 types of relatively average cheese. This is a price of above average restaurant in central London which I believe it is expensive for this area . Customer service was good although when the restaurant got a bit busier staff kept forgetting our orders and we had to remind them of what we requested. We also had churros for desert which tasted like a frozen Tesco essentials! As Spanish restaurant they should at least ACE this dessert.

Went here recently with a large group for dinner. The staff where very friendly and the food was good. Tapas is not my favourite food but I did enjoy it. There is an upstairs area with additional seating which could be suitable for private events or larger bookings

The food was very good especially the paella We had a mixture of lots of different dishes which we shared before 4 of us. The lamb cutlets was very testy so would go with that again! The service was also very good they even served tap water in our glasses it was impressive. It’s not cheap and there is a time limit for weekends. We waited for our table but it’s acceptable because they were so busy i will definitely try again.

We went to La Lluna for our Valentine's Day meal. Food was excellent and service was great. Will definitely return.

New Year’s Eve a special eveningWe went with friends and we couldn’t have been happierThe staff were charming and helpfulThe food delicious and the cost very fareWe sat upstairs at a secluded table, downstairs was lively and buzzy so you can take your pickGreat cocktails and if they are not on the menu the bar person was so experienced that they made whatever we wanted.The normal menu was in operation and no fancy tasting menus. Ate here last night and was very happy with it. The service was polite and quick. When they brought my wife the meat paella instead of the vegetarian one she ordered, they sorted it out and got the correct one quickly. I had the seafood paella, which was tasty and we shared padron peppers and tomato bread, both of which were very nice. My favourite thing about here is the serving of paella for one, meaning no compromise on which one you want!

We were given the warmest of welcomes by all the staff and had a lovely seat over looking the courtyard. The food was beautifully presented and tasty..will definitely be returning

When here as I had see the recommendations on various sites. When I have had tapes meals in other restaurants it's normally 3 portions for a set fee.Went on my own was a mistake. The first way to wanted me to sit on the stools facing out. I wanted table and chairs. This was fine I hadn't booked but wasn't busy at this time. I checked the menu first thought was the drinks where on the pricey side. I chose the house wine then realise a glass of wine was really a large glass. Checked the food menu. Looked at the vegetarian tapes. I then decided on the salmon as I was hungry order this I was expecting something to start with whether it was olives or slice of bread and butter. Then the fish turned up on a plate very small. I was waiting for salad or potatoes or rice as the fish took only a third of this tray. However that was it I eat it all very tasty.Then Mells save the day she came to check how I was. I said I was still hungry she explained most people come with a lot of people and portions are only started sizes and they share. I asked if I could order something else and she suggested the vegetarian paella. As I was waiting. I got given a tuna portion on house which was good then the paella turned up plenty of rice and very tasty. Mells check to see if I was ok still.So to recap all the portions are very small and you were better of ordering paella with a portion the wine is a large glass no little bits to start with & to go with friends.
