McDonalds in Wealden

The Mc Donald's here can get VERYY busy, but it is constantly improving. Couple of years ago, we used to make jokes about how they would always forget something in our order here, but recently it has improved massively, good stop on a long journey.

Very clean well done to the two staff members constantly going round. Food a bit slow. Chips not full

We don't have Mcdonald very often. But worth the driver to polegate, clean and staff great. Henry was brilliant so helpful, welcoming and polite. Thank you Henry for making our visit a good one

Diabolical. This is by far the worst branch you could go to. On three separate occasions they've messed up an order via the app. This time, will be the last time, went to complain inside to Leah (shift manager), to be told, I don't have to be the way I was, had Mila, I think her name was, couldn't see past the ten thousand eyelashes she had on and Tori (basic servers) look me in the face and couldn't make it any more obvious they were talking about me. Rather than tell customers to calm down, how about control your staff. Absolute shambolic staff, clearly hiring rejects in this branch.

Not only were the fries cold and tasteless but our burgers ( legend and MC chicken sandwich) were too! The only redeeming feature was our coffees were warm. Very poor service.

The best drive thru McDonald’s in Sussex I’ve never had any issues here I recommend this drive thru. Amazing service and polite staff 🤩🤩

Love a drive thru brekky but why is it always lukewarm... .have to bring home and put in microwave nine times out if ten. Is what it is but occasionally be nice to get a hot one

We used the drive through to grab a quick breakfast on route to family.Sadly the food wasn't nice. The muffin on one meal was burnt and rock hard. Missed an orange juice from another meal and seemed completely baffled by the request for no muffin on one order and then subsequrntly missed off the cheese!.Had to park up and go in to get missing bits and replacements.Really defeated the reasons for using the drive through!

In comparison to its neighbour store (Lottbridge Drove), service is significantly quicker (eating-in), although my only grumble would be entering the parking area if the Drive-Thru is busy is neigh on impossible (definitely think a rethink toward the parking route is very much needed - especially as there is no available parking nearby).Aside from that food tasted fresh and served hot, legitimately couldn't grumble about the food/service. Seating area, we regrettably sat in an area that was assigned for members of staff to take their breaks (no signage to say this), certainly made the rest of the meal feel somewhat awkward with the glares from members of staff after we were 'politely' informed of our innocent mistake.So if you live locally I'd advise Polegate over Lottbridge; just be weary of the implications of any traffic on the bypass and drive-in area as could be the reason for any delays to your food.

We used Uber eats to order, when received the order it was missing all the chips plus the extras I paid for. When I rang them they refused to help saying it wasn’t their responsibility and it was Ubers… however Uber didn’t make the order or pack the order, McDonald’s did. Very frustrating situation, I understand it’s only a couple of pounds for a few large fries but they could of been more apologetic and helped me.
