Miah Indian Takeaway in Wealden

Had a great meal in this restaurant with fantastic service especially Abdul with his attention to detail.

This takeaway is going downhill. Collections or deliveries never seem to be on time. I've had to wait 3/4 hour in the restaurant for a collection that should have been ready when I arrived. The last meal was very watery and pretty tasteless. I'm afraid I won't be going back.

Absolutely great curry. Called up, asked for something mild as my toddler is really enjoying curry these days. They delivered a really lovely tikka bhuna and included some naan bread. Kiddo loved it. Food really fresh and cooked with great blends. Definitely ordering here again!

I have been using the Miah for over 10 years but sadly will not be doing so again. I ordered online and food was due at 7pm for collection. I had to wait until 7.35 to get the food. One item was not available so I had to choose an alternative. When I finally got home I was missing a rice dish. I called the restaurant and all they suggested was that I came back out again or they take it of my next bill, they refused to deliver the missing item. The take away was a weekend treat but but ended up being stressful and eating too late so will not use again. A great shame as the food as ever was delicious. Personally I feel the service has declined significantly as they are unable to effectively manage phone orders, orders online from their own site and just eat orders. Maybe going back to one ordering system would improve the situation moving forward.

So ordered through their own online booking system as we were trying to help them by cutting out Just Eat fees. Ordered at 18.35, it said 25 min until pick up. Arrived at 19.00 hrs to collect, several people waiting despite sign saying you must order and pay online and collect at a set time. There were several people including the delivery driver all chatting indoors, no masks. Finally the food was handed out at 19.35. Got home, changed into comfy clothes for a relaxing evening before checking order. A Pilau rice missing! Called them and they said we have to come collect it, no chance as we’ve got changed into PJ’s. Man said he’d add to next order... no we won’t go back. Very rude, don’t care attitude. My partner has used them for over 10 years, never again

Waited 2 hours for our order. Never arrived! When I called after an hour, I was told 20 minutes. After waiting for 2 hours, I called and was told another 10-15 minutes. Online it showed order delivered!! First time customer, shame I couldn't taste the food but I would never order from here again. Disappointing service.
