Pizza Express in Wealden

Usual family friendly menu offered by this chain, quick service by pleasant staff

We arrived at 7:10 as booked table for 7:15pm was ignored for 45 mins then order taken then nothing till we complained, I understand staff were thin on the ground but being served after others had been way before us and arrived after was extremely bad management! The new manager needs to up his/hers game otherwise you will loose alot of customer.

The waitress was outstanding very helpful pleasant and attentive. Particularly with my grandsons birthday cake.First class

This nice restaurant has left an amazing impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation,fine wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again! Each time I visit I have the impression that the restaurant is improving . Congrats !

We have eaten before in this restaurant, but now i cant tell i can see big improvements. We like to come over with the kids and family,and always enjoy your nice food. Service is getting better, food comes out quick and we feel more welcome.Keep up the good work, we really love your pizza 😍

I couldn't be happier. A lot of improvement has been made since my last visit. Staff looked happier and all atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely one of my favourite pizza places.

Customer service is appalling. We waited 10 minutes until the manager greeted us, despite there only being 2 tables in use and staff around, to be told that they weren’t accepting walk-ins at 5pm. Although during our wait, a waitress took 2 takeaway orders saying wait time was 20 minutes. We had very young children with us, and the manager was so rude verbally and in my view aggressively when he threw the menus on the table when we asked if we could get a take-away. Safe to say, we did not wait to see what the food was like. It’s a shame as pizza express is usually a favourite

Posatives: food was niceNegatives: terrible service, missed items from order, never checked to see if we had everything. Missed drinks, missed garlic butter, no cutlery replaced after starter, starters not cleared when mains arrived, very slow service.Basically very poorly organised, 5 people on the floor and no one taking charge of say area leading to terrible service
