Terrace Bar at Sweetwoods Park Golf Club in Wealden

The SHAGS recently had there monthly society day at Sweetwoods, and the members loved it, from the moment we arrived to when we left, we were looked after by the staff. Breakfast was very good, the course was in great condition its a 10 out of 10 from the SHAGS

Enjoyed this interesting course with water and ditches and not too long - hilly but manageable. Good kitchen.

We only discovered this gem early in 2021 and were so blown away, we returned the following week! Two of us live near Lewes and two near Caterham - it’s almost equidistant and well worth the journey. It’s become our “go to” course so we’re going again next month! Definitely the most stunning golf course I’ve come across outside of Spain.(Lovely food too!) *****

Very disappointed , as visitors we had booked & paid in advance, travelled a long way & arranged our day on basis of playing golf at Sweetwoods. Upon arrival course & pro shop closed.The course had been closed for two days & nobody had called us to advise of the closure even though we had provided contact details.We had not at any stage been advised to look at their web site .We were left frustrated and disappointed as we were given had no time to make other arrangements or plans to play at other courses.To make it more disappointing upon contacting them later they showed no concern to our position.Suggest to go to other courses .

A really lovely challenging course that I would highly recommend. Though the first tee is really high up! Also the first few holes the road leading to the club house meanders through them, so beware of cars. Apart from that, what a lovely picturesque course with some really good challenges. If you don't like hills, then this isn't for you but it's worth the effort. Course is well kept with only one temporary tee near the end. I'm hoping to go again soon and may try and do a society day there next year.Just a note that the postcode given on their website sends you to some dead end not far from Holtye Golf Club. All four of us made this mistake!

Our golf society visited sweetwoods in June 2021. The team at the club were so helpful in making sure that our day ran smoothly. The catering manager contacted me beforehand to talk through our food options. He even makes his own bread for the bacon rolls which are superb. The course was in fantastic condition with true running greens and lush fairways. We finished with a BBQ on the patio in the evening sun. The staff were friendly and attentive. In my opinion it was the best society golf day I've been to we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

The staff were friendly and most helpful. The course was playing very well and was in very nice condition. All the guys in my group enjoyed themselves and had a really fun day out.

Fantastic course, only spoilt by the gale force winds we had to contend with. The only criticism I could level would be that the range balls were dirty, a very mixed bunch and some if them were badly cut up, with one in almost two parts.

Was in pretty good shape. Flower garden near the 15th tee was very nice - wonderful fragrance. 13 through 15 very challenging - 13, 14 are real par 5s that require three good shots to reach the green, and 15 is a 211 yard par 3 from the yellow tee!

Course conditions ok considering the weather lately. Some holes have changed since last played. High water levels.
